Haha... if really got stocks scalpers wont be able to resell at Rm4.5k to Rm5k each.Ā  laugh.gif
hmm.gif Not sure. Someone did mention getting a second dual sense to play Astro Playroom IINM. If not then my bad. Anyway, there is still shortage of stocks for the Dual Sense. Ask a few gaming shops in 1U and seems that nobody has it for now.
*
Sackboy, borderlands 3, nba2k1, fifa21.

Of cuz there's tons more on ps4 as well.

You can get the dualsense from shopee or lazada, but a number of them is import set.

I was lucky to score 1 during 1212 for rm300 local set after coupons apply. 😁

So in other words, if I want to play GOW in 1080p mode, fhd tv/ monitor is the way to go, right?
*
Yes. FHD will look better in perf mode.
Else sit far back till not blurry. Lol.

so wifi 6 will make connection better like using lan and less latency? if can i dont want to use lan cable haha
*
Nothing beat LAN for speed and stability.

WiFi if your space/location is a dead zone/bad coverage area, whatever WiFi system you use also won't be optimal.

1st choice is always LAN. 2nd would be mesh wifi system for dead zone coverage.

Then only you on the lookout for speed.

Also. Unless u sub to the highest broadband speed/bandwidth, and have tons of gadget connected to WiFi, AC router is sufficient for most cases.

I have been using since day 1 i collected from Sony at Mid Valley.
A couple of things

- the controller's left side's vibration is much stronger than the right... has anyone noticed this?
- downloaded few games from the PSN collection and the storage is already full, any recommendation for external drive?

Other than these, the interface and loading times are much faster than ps4 pro.
*
It's normal for the vibration to feel that way if you are playing ps4 games on ps4 using dualsense.

The haptic feedback and dualshock is different and the dualsense can only emulate dualshock vibration for ps4 games. It better if you use ds4 for it if it feels weird to you.

Can play 120hz, but looks like shit.
*
I 2nd this.

But I only try on borderlands 3. the 120hz mode is not worth it over the normal 60hz mode unless you are truly in competitive scene.

Either I'm too old for gaming or I can't tell much of the response time difference between the 2.

Even thought I just got my Pulse3D a few days ago, i'm already lookinmg at the  7Ps.. mainly due to how the headset feels and the cramped controls .. In fact I just pm'd HeavyArms and asked how much was the deposit and was going to go in the next couple of days.

There was one thing I wanted to find out and glad this video covers it (exact time at  the link below)

https://youtu.be/TS6YN8zsM8Y?t=439

but I saw this video and they were dealbreakers for me (though for some they would be minor)
1) No quick control to set chat/game audio balance. PULSE 3d has this
and secondly (this is quite a petty requirement)

2) If you turn off the headset, it doesn't default back to speakers. You need to open up the audio menu on the PS5 and switch the audio (and this doesn't persist, so as long as you have the usb dongle connected and you on and off your PS5 it will default back to the USB receiver)

If these things bother you like it does me haha ,  maybe wait a little for more PS5 targeting headsets..  but other than these two thing the 7p  looks solid from reviews so far.

With the amount of money u spend I would have pick up Audeze Penrose edi.

You guys want good audio, buy good headphones. It's really not that difficult to understand.

And no, good does not mean expensive. Common misconception.

Recommendation?

Philips Fidelio X2HR.

Prefer my beyerdyamics dt990 Pro over x2hr, or my AT900x if I need crazy soundstage for fps.

My hifiman 400i also nice, but zero comfort

Need BT headphones with mic for ease of use for gaming.

Reason I recommend X2HR is because for most gamers here, it makes sense. If you need a mic, get the VMODA boompro and connect it to the X2HR + dualsense, instantly becomes the best "gaming headset" on the market without paying a premium, bar none. The X2HR also strikes a good balance between a wide enough soundstage for casual competitive gaming and also just enough bass immersion for those single player experience. Fact that X2HR is also almost always on sale makes it a no brainer "reasonable budget" purchase.

DT990 are nice but don't really have the versatility of to do what the X2HR can and the weak-ass dualsense can't even drive them to respectable volume to begin with.

Another alternative is the Vokyl Erupts which are IMO better than the X2HR even. They were suppose to go full production this year but covid happened, otherwise this would be my new go-to recommendation.
*
I was actually surprise that it can drive my dt990, albeit at max volume, its louder than using it on ps4 that's for sure.

I'm not using the 600ohm thou, just the 250ohm. 600ohm confirm can't drive without amp. I do have headphone dacs but it's use for pc only.

True thou it can't have the mic option.

But it's still wired, most ppl will opt for wireless setup nowadays.

I also notice ppl prefer close cans for gaming, or at least majority of gaming headsets are close cans

Have you tried playing both games at 60 fps and 120fps? Very big difference right?  sweat.gif
*
Tbh not much different. Maybe it matters on competitive scene.

60fps jump to 120fps is unlike 30fps to 60fps.

At 120fps, you will only feel ever so slightly smoother and better response/input lag.

Boomer hands like mine don't feel much of a change. Lol

To achieve 120fps the downgrade of eye candies is not worthwhile for me.

Just noticedĀ  that my Sony Universal remote control works with the PS5..without any special settings.

However I'm having trouble to turn on HDR. It says my TV doesn't support it.Ā  I've enabled HDMI Ultra HD Deep Color on my TV HDMI port and using the supplied PS5 HDMI cable. It's a 2015 LG 4K.
*
That's CEC link. If tv and other device has CEC function it can work together.

Personally I off it, as turning off any device will link all device to turn off too.

Your TV model? If its too old not all ports is hdmi 2.0 I think.

Alternately try other cables.

CEC link is Simplink,Ā  that's how LG calls it. I've disabled it too but this isn't related to HDR I believe.

Mine is a 2015 model UF770T.

The ports are all labeled 4K@60

Only ones port - HDMI 1Ā  supportsĀ  Ultra HD Deep Color (4:4:4, 4:2:2, 4:2:0). I connected the PS5 to this port using the supplied cable.Ā  I also tried another high quality 2.1 cable but still can't turn on HDR.

On the console I manually tried -1, -2 transmission rate but didn't work too. Tried googling and seems that many people have this issue.

Not sure if it's my TV issue. If it is,Ā  I'll just have to manage without HDR till I upgrade to a better TV.
*
Boss. Ur tv don't support HDR leh.

Only 1 or 2 of the 2015 oled models support hdr.

HDR is only mainstream on 2016 models onward.

Side note on HDR, for entry level tv, don't bother with HDR, it will look worse than SDR.

The latest midrange does an OK job on HDR.

When I say mainstream it means most tv have the function for HDR, but most TV perform worst than SDR. So do take note on this if you want HDR on your upgrade.

I turn on my CeC link as I love it when I just need to press the PS button on my controller to turn on my Ps5, TV and Sound bar. Only 1 button. The only cons is , my son kept forgetting to turn off the TV as when you turn off the Ps5, it won't turn off the TV and Sound bar which make sense. Ny sony X90H will only turn off backight but the tv and sound bar actually still on. So need to turn off manually. It make sense because I usually go to netflix etc after power off the Ps5.
*
If it works for you. Kudos.

It brings me more problem than solution especially the conflict issue with my AVR.

Also I can't have my ps4/5 to be on when my TV is off. I turn off my OLED tvs for game patch update, but with CEC it won't function individually.

I have to admit that the 1 button on is pretty nice when I set it up to try.

I had drifting issue with L1.

One of of our kind forum member shared this link : https://g.co/kgs/zoF8UQ
However I brought it to Sony Curve as it was much more convenient for me. They will send it to the location in the link above anyway.. So if you can go to that link it would be better otherwise just visit Sony Curve or one of it's official authorized centres.

Of course you can't do it now because of the MCO.

Infact my controller has been replaced with a new one but I cannot collect it yet due to this lockdown.
*
Wow. They replace new? I'll go there after mco I guess. Hope it will be lifted soon.
