Not sure. Someone did mention getting a second dual sense to play Astro Playroom IINM. If not then my bad. Anyway, there is still shortage of stocks for the Dual Sense. Ask a few gaming shops in 1U and seems that nobody has it for now.

So in other words, if I want to play GOW in 1080p mode, fhd tv/ monitor is the way to go, right?

I have been using since day 1 i collected from Sony at Mid Valley.
A couple of things

- the controller's left side's vibration is much stronger than the right... has anyone noticed this?
- downloaded few games from the PSN collection and the storage is already full, any recommendation for external drive?

Other than these, the interface and loading times are much faster than ps4 pro.

Even thought I just got my Pulse3D a few days ago, i'm already lookinmg at the  7Ps.. mainly due to how the headset feels and the cramped controls .. In fact I just pm'd HeavyArms and asked how much was the deposit and was going to go in the next couple of days.

but I saw this video and they were dealbreakers for me (though for some they would be minor)
1) No quick control to set chat/game audio balance. PULSE 3d has this
and secondly (this is quite a petty requirement)

2) If you turn off the headset, it doesn't default back to speakers. You need to open up the audio menu on the PS5 and switch the audio (and this doesn't persist, so as long as you have the usb dongle connected and you on and off your PS5 it will default back to the USB receiver)

If these things bother you like it does me haha ,  maybe wait a little for more PS5 targeting headsets..  but other than these two thing the 7p  looks solid from reviews so far.

You guys want good audio, buy good headphones. It's really not that difficult to understand.

And no, good does not mean expensive. Common misconception.

Philips Fidelio X2HR.

Reason I recommend X2HR is because for most gamers here, it makes sense. If you need a mic, get the VMODA boompro and connect it to the X2HR + dualsense, instantly becomes the best "gaming headset" on the market without paying a premium, bar none. The X2HR also strikes a good balance between a wide enough soundstage for casual competitive gaming and also just enough bass immersion for those single player experience. Fact that X2HR is also almost always on sale makes it a no brainer "reasonable budget" purchase.

DT990 are nice but don't really have the versatility of to do what the X2HR can and the weak-ass dualsense can't even drive them to respectable volume to begin with.

Another alternative is the Vokyl Erupts which are IMO better than the X2HR even. They were suppose to go full production this year but covid happened, otherwise this would be my new go-to recommendation.

Have you tried playing both games at 60 fps and 120fps? Very big difference right? 

Just noticed  that my Sony Universal remote control works with the PS5..without any special settings.

However I'm having trouble to turn on HDR. It says my TV doesn't support it.  I've enabled HDMI Ultra HD Deep Color on my TV HDMI port and using the supplied PS5 HDMI cable. It's a 2015 LG 4K.

CEC link is Simplink,  that's how LG calls it. I've disabled it too but this isn't related to HDR I believe.

Mine is a 2015 model UF770T.

The ports are all labeled 4K@60

Only ones port - HDMI 1  supports  Ultra HD Deep Color (4:4:4, 4:2:2, 4:2:0). I connected the PS5 to this port using the supplied cable.  I also tried another high quality 2.1 cable but still can't turn on HDR.

On the console I manually tried -1, -2 transmission rate but didn't work too. Tried googling and seems that many people have this issue.

Not sure if it's my TV issue. If it is,  I'll just have to manage without HDR till I upgrade to a better TV.

I turn on my CeC link as I love it when I just need to press the PS button on my controller to turn on my Ps5, TV and Sound bar. Only 1 button. The only cons is , my son kept forgetting to turn off the TV as when you turn off the Ps5, it won't turn off the TV and Sound bar which make sense. Ny sony X90H will only turn off backight but the tv and sound bar actually still on. So need to turn off manually. It make sense because I usually go to netflix etc after power off the Ps5.

Of course you can't do it now because of the MCO.

Infact my controller has been replaced with a new one but I cannot collect it yet due to this lockdown.
