Have fun with ps5...I'm currently in the waiting list for 2nd batch...hopefully end of December but most like end of January...sigh just want to play 20 ps plus game collection why lar lock behind ps5

While waiting for my PS5 to drop I bought Cyberpunk on Gog to tide me a couple of days till my new toy arrives..

Was excited to start playing but once I got to the "overworld".. I am disappointed, not in the game but the performance of my own system that is barely a year old

GTX2080 super (i know i know.. got 3080 already etc etc)
amd 3800x

wiith RT on and DLSS at ultra performance still getting huge framerate drops .. at the beginning of the game though,  with DLSS at performance and RT on.. got 50-60 fps  ..

Anyway now if outside the game hovers around 40-50.. I cannot play FPS at this framerates haha will trigger my motion sickness.. asked gog for a refund.. maybe will buy again once i upgrade again.

Since everyone is flashing their stuff , might as well join the fun .
There goes my childhood .

I saw ppl in Reddit still experiencing issue from rest mode even after the latest update so I don’t dare to put my PS5 on rest since I switched on till now😂

Anyone here felt the fan is extremely loud that you expected or it just mine unit?

I also dare not put rest mode. Only once when hdmi device link is default on then ps5 went to rest mode after I switch off tv. Now i manually disable that feature.

Mine quiet. Only have “okayish” sound when installing disc game during first time disc insert.

So 1st batch stock was manufactured in october.

Iinm us region is august.

Anyhow should not much differ i guess. Rumors in fb says our ps5 comes with less silent fan

I can hear the disc spinning sound from this distance...i wonder is this normal

Is it that bad on 120hz? Considering to get the LG CX

3rd day with my PS5, having a blast with it, few things:

1. I charge my controller with various charger and cables, no issue so far.
2. Not turning on rest mode for now, although I really want to.
3. Only playing demon souls so far.
4. PS+ collection dissapoints me, you'll get a game for your specific region, cannot change. For example I claimed Persona 5 but it's the chinese version and can't change the language to english, so I can't play it at all. Many people have complained about this, no fix so far. Looks like this is how it's designed.
5. I don't like the thropy interface, PS4 was a simple list but now they change it to card with giant icons.
6. Switching between games does not ask you if you for confirmation, I accidentally switched to other games from the home screen when I want to select gallery instead, can lose your progress like this.
7. Games in homescreen is limited to a number, but there's still so much space left to show them actually.
8. Now you can see your play duration for all games, they also counted those in PS4, but you can't sort the list, unlike steam, so it's quite jarring for me.
9. Youtube broadcast always stoppped for me after 1-2 hours for no reason, never happened in PS4. I'm on WiFi, and I don't want to switch to cable due to others reporting they face errors on cable, not going to take the risk.
10. Console is very quiet except when the disc drive is spinning, but only for less than a minute.

Nice just updated Spiderman Remastered. Now I can play on Performance RT setting.

Say I purchase the Spider Man Miles Morales Ultimate  Edition physical copy.  MM is on physical disc  and SMR is via digital download using the given voucher code.

Assume I've finished playing both games and wish to sell it.  Will the new owner be able to download the SMR using the voucher code since I've already redeemed it?

Hi all, I am planning to get a new gaming headset to play with my ps5, what brand and model would you guys recommend?

Since I can't use my sound bar's TOSLINK connection and there aren't any HDMI 2.1 splitter yet in the market so I will put it on hold.

Many people didn't realised PS5 is in shortage as well, and thinks they can walk-in and buy it on launch day.

I thought I only saw this in FB comments, but then one of my friends texted me and ask me where I get my PS5. He's been calling shops but no stock. 

Do you know if MH is 1080p 60  or 4k ?
Cos MH looks really good and runs very smooth.
