bro, i chatted with them. They say will only email within 2 days. You received your email straight away?

Yesterday I receive the first email (instructions for purchasing the warranty) within an hour after ending live chat.
Second email from them only comes in this morning, and they mention will take 2-3 working days to process.

Anyone getting frequent wifi problems on ps5? Always when downloading something, halfway it just stops downloading and after a while it will say network problem. Have to restart the ps5 to get the wifi working again. But after few minutes again it will get stuck.
*
No issue for me so far.
I using wifi AX router and so far I've downloaded 300-400gb of games without any issue.

That's why I always encourage people don't use credit card to do any transaction IN PSN. Too many frauds, hacks and errors. Stick to the PSN card. It's the safest way. No matter how convenient is the credit card to help you to buy games, it cannot buy the peace of mind of yours.
*
Agree with you.
Especially these days PSN card is more widely available (maybanku2, public bank online, 7-11, etc).
And there's no additional charges, so if you pay RM50 you get RM50 PSN credit.

I am loving the steel series 7p so much...can hear footsteps better as in predicting the direction..

3d pulse sounds a bit muffled in my personal opinion..not crisp enough
*
Did you connect your Arctis 7p to PC and setup with SteelEngine ?
If yes mind sharing your settings here ?

I'm using Arctis 7 currently, I believe both models are identical except colour and dongle.
Sound wise I'm not satisfy with mine.
I find them a bit muffle and it takes quite a bit of effort to pinpoint enemy direction (tested with Resident Evil 7 only so far).

This is my first wireless and gaming headphone, so maybe I expected too much from them haha.
But comfort wise I find them simply amazing.
I can last 3-4 hours gaming session without taking them off once and it doesn't feel hot in my ear (I wear glasses and I don't game in aircon room).

well i do watch a lot of reviews also but sometimes reviews can be very biased. But in this case, it is worth the extra Rm300+ hands down even without the seamless integration.
This is considered my first actual pair of gaming headset as well considering i just used my pulse 3d for less than 5 hours. LOL. I just started spending more hours last night with the 7p default EQ with GOT. I was playing the heavenly strike chapter and was able to pinpoint the lady faint sobbing sound underneath the bridge almost immediately with the help of my headset and without looking at the map indicator. I find that the default is okay to my liking overall. Have yet to try to connect to PC and adjust the EQ but will do when I have time. If you say the 7 is muffled, the pulse even more muffled imo. Yes it is super comfortable! I did not feel the need to take it off as well.
*
Few of my friends told me GOT sound effect is fantastic.
Definitely on my to play list.
Too many games to play and I really struggling with my PS4 backlogs, luckily PS5 don't have any titles that I really want to play yet.

Noted that you're on default eq setting.
I try tweak mine multiple times in SteelEngine, to me it sounded better than default but still I couldn't tweak it to my taste.
Maybe I always prefer open back headphone sound, so I didn't quite enjoy Arctis 7 sound signature.
Will give the default sound eq another try.

Don't get me wrong, I don't regret my Arctis 7 purchase.
For the price we pay I think it does what it needs to do pretty decently, and it's unfair for me to compare the sound quality with my other headphones (purely for music listening).
It's the most comfortable headphone in my possession right now, and the mic is pretty ok (feedback from my gaming buddies).
Wireless is just so much more convenient for gaming, and don't forget the battery life is amazing as well.
Had to sacrifice audio quality a bit, but I'm ok with it

I'm having this strange auto 'discharge' issue with my dualsense lately.
My habit is fully charge my dualsense with my ps5 while playing game or in rest mode.
Next day the dualsense battery is fully drained, not able to connect or even turn on my ps5, must connect via usb c cable to power on my dualsesne.
This happen about 3-4 times in a month.

At first I thought it's the cable issue (I using Mcdodo auto power off cable), then I tried with the original cable that came with my ps5, same issue.
It's quite random, only sometime it happens.

Yesterday I finally identified which dualsense (I had 2) is having this issue, and I did a reset and remove the dualsense pairing on my ps5 settings.
These are info I get from reddit and hope it works.

Anyone had similar issue with their dualsense ?

Check your controller firmware. You need to get the latest update. There is a video.i posted here before on how to update it if you accidentally rejected the update.

Here is the link if u haven't update your controller firmware yet....

Thanks for the link, I will check my controller firmware later.
I updated both dualsense last month, but not sure if they are on the latest firmware or not.

Some how the Registered Product page is empty in my account, before it was there. Will just keep the invoice and extended warranty cert for future reference.
*
I just checked mine on Sony Malaysia website, it's still in the registered product page.
I know you have the invoice and extended warranty cert, but no harm to contact Sony Malaysia and ask them to fix it though.

Is there anyone here who is abit bored of their ps5?

Srsly the games releease damn slow and its always Remasters now

PS5 games are coming out really slowly, so I think there's no need to rush and get one if your main goal is to play PS5 games.

Personally I'm a really slow gamer, so my PS4 backlog is crazy.
Some PS4 games get fps boost, which is a game changer to me.

But the main reason why I upgraded to PS5 from PS4 fat is the freaking the jet engine sound.
I took apart my entire fat PS4, clean thoroughly then applied new thermal paste and slot in a new SSD, but still it is freaking loud.
Even with headphone on, I can still hear it pretty clearly.

I'm so glad PS5 is dead quiet when compared to PS4.

The PS4 Pro launch edition CUH-7000 fan is noisy, it is normal. Since the fan rpm keep spin to the max speed. After two times revision, the latest PS4 Pro CUH-7200 which is much more quiet on its fan cooler. It does not related to the APU heating so won't works even you clean the heatsink, fan cooler and replace to new thermal paste. Since it is CUH-7000, fan is still noisy.
However, the CUH-7000 has lowest temperature while running games by comparing to CUH-7100 and CUH-7200. Fan spin fast but has better cooling. Lower temperature meaning that has better gaming performance.
*
Mine is actually the fat PS4 not PS4 pro smile.gif
Bought it at launch in late 2013 if I'm not mistaken.

Was hoping it will do some differences by cleaning it, but end up not much of a difference to me.
Putting SSD on PS4 though was a huge boost.

Same. I have the day 1 fat ps4 and dont have the pro. So for me it's a huge leap. Especially the loading speed.

I came from a PS4 with SSD, even that I could feel the loading is faster.
If you come from a non ssd PS4, the differences will be shocking smile.gif

Yeah, end up I play another 100-200 hours of monster hunter haha.
I've been dreaming to play it on 60fps for a long time

Any particular reason you trying to install via USB ?
If your PS5 is connected to the internet, it should auto download the firmware within seconds after login.

The place which i put it in my room have weak wifi signal. I rarely play anything online on console. Another way is to bring the console downstair and install the firmware there because the TV there just next to the router
*
I see.
It's been a very long time since I manually install firmware on a Playstation, last was when I change my PS4 harddisk to SSD.
It should be pretty straight forward.
The link from RokXIII should do the trick.

Wanting the PS5 is not wrong. It's just that IF a person doesn't get it till it makes him becoming so toxic in nature is dumb. Over a bloody console? Some desperate guys even went for those bogus sellers on Lazada/Shopee and got scammed. Lucky still able to refund on Lazada. But still someone must have gone mad over a few nights waiting for Lazada to process back the refund etc. Can't get now surely get later. A lot waited and eventually got em.

*
This reminds me that during the first batch and Sony can't fulfil all the orders (mine included) , one guy in this forum was talking about he's going to sue Sony Malaysia for that LOL.

I thoroughly enjoy my PS5 and spent 10-15 hours a week on it, but I can tell you 90% of the time I'm playing PS4 games on it.
If the games that you plan to play don't benefit from the 60fps boost, I sincerely don't think it's a big game changer.
To me 2022 is the real 'first' year for PS5 games

I was looking around as well but no luck.

2 of my dual sense left analog stick has drifted.
Tried everything short of actually replacing the analog sticks but nothing works long term.
Actually changing the joystick is also a lot of work, way harder than changing a joycon joystick.
*
May I know which part you changed ?
Just the potentiometer or the entire analog ?
And any links for the parts ?

I have gone through 3 dualsense, 1 got warranty but the replacement starts drifting about 5 months later.
Now all of them are out of warranty and I plan to fix them myself.

From my understanding the drift is due to potentiometer.
We can either try
1) clean the potentiometer
2) replace the copper ring thingy inside the potentiometer
3) replace the entire potentiometer
4) replace the entire analog

Method 1 and 2 don't require soldering.
And the potentiometer replacement for dualsense is 2.3k ohm

I meant I did almost everything other than replacing the analog stick.

I’ve tried method 1. Doesn’t work for the long term.
Used a lot of contact cleaner and still it did not solve the issue. Made it go away for a while though.

As for method 2,3,4… I won’t be attempting that as it is quite a lot of trouble.
Found a few in shopee
https://shopee.com.my/2-Sets-for-PlayStatio...9c-0afc1c78aea0

But I’ve no idea if it will work.
*
Oh got it.
I thought you replaced the potentiometer by soldering.
Going through 3 dualsense since launch for me is kinda unlucky, both of my PS3 and PS4 controllers went through entire generation without issues though.

guys, how the f do you register for warranty on Playstation website?

The box serial number count number dont match at all==

it says need 15 serial numbers but my box has alphabets and numbers more than 15 wtf?
*
there's a leaflet that comes my ps5 pro , it mention the warranty must be register on Playstation HK website.
I didn't try that out, as I decided to buy 2 additional years of warranty from Sony Malaysia for RM 256 by using the live chat at Sony MY website.

Do you know if the Playstation 5 PRO comes with local warranty as it is?

Edit:
Maybe the answer is here? 1 year warranty?
https://www.playstation.com/en-my/legal/war...-Extra-Warranty
*
Yes it comes with 1 year warranty, and we will get an additional 3 months if we register the warranty online.
For some reason we have to register it on Playstation website (HK ???) rather than Sony MY website.
If I'm not mistaken the last console that I need to register the warranty on Playstation website was PS3/PSVita.

I opted for the 1+2 years warranty by Sony Malaysia, so Sony Malaysia handled thew warranty registration for me.

Inside my PS5 pro box there is this leaflet and told us to register the warranty at this link below :
