Lucky you bro, I guess I'm 1 of the lucky guy who managed to get the PS5. I made my online pre-order of PS5 on Sony Website, 3 days later, received phone call from them stating that due to system error they have to cancel and refund my order. I lost all my hope in getting a PS5 on launch day.

Until around 7th December, suddenly I received a phone call from my retailer, stating that somebody cancelled his pre-order of PS5, ask me whether I'm interested to buy it. Without any hesitation, I straight away make my payment and transfer the money to him  sweat.gif . Even until today I still feel I'm living in a dream for being able to secure a unit of PS5 on launch day.  innocent.gif

Haha same case for me. I didn't order online coz for sure won't get, so I just went to Sony midvalley like 10AM, luckily so near to my house, no roadblock etc, and coz of CMCO people feel so much hassle going there. So the queue was short and I got my PO. It was so quick and easy, less than 1 hour.

The only issue was that it was so easy almost hard to believe, so on the launch week my mind was so bothered whether I will get it or not, keep bothering their CS. Thankfully I got it. But still hard to believe the PS5 now sitting in my living room biggrin.gif

My experience as a first batch owner, I recommend Sony centre midvalley megamall (Foto Shangri-La). I'm expecting the least crowd here just like last time.

Last time I came at 10.15, only queued for 20 mins. And managed to collect my unit on time. Service is excellent. Even you check their FB page, not many people comment/like. They are not so popular.

Yes, I think not even 20 mins. Back story: I avoid online ordering coz you already know what is going to happen at midnight. So very early in the morning, like 9AM I went to Mission World midvalley coz I'm a regular there, and I thought Sony centre midvalley will be crowded. At 10AM turned out got some issue in mission world, they not sure how many units they getting, so they are only taking names. I left empty handed.

But as I'm going out from the mall, I walked past the sony centre and no long queue, at that time it's around 10.15 or 10.20, only less than 20 people queuing, they have 2 cashiers handling the PO. So the queue moved fast and I got my turn very quickly.

Fast forward few days before collection day, they call me, saying congrats and all that, and when I collect they give a nice thank you card, a sony grocery bag, and a free milo. All in all good experience. Didn't have to put much effort.

This time around if you're planning to go there, maybe go a little earlier just in case.
