Does the air cond piping leaking in the wall covered by developer within warranty period?

I talked to the main-con and he said the warranty void because I replaced the air-cond (developer provided a default air cond which was replaced without use).
His logic, I replaced the default air cond and hence internal piping leaking no longer covered.
Apparentlly replacing air cond means you shaking shaking the air cond and hence piping leaking is your own fault.

Is there any truth in his remark?

Feel like want to challenge myself hacking and replace the piping if the main con refuse to do.

aircond pipe in the wall is never a good thing. sooner or later will leak
consider surface pipe or use a pump

but why oh?
it is like you replace lighting and the developer then accuses you of cutting the wiring somewhere in the wall which you will not be able to reach.

it is like impossible for me to break the piping internally within the wall.
if so easy break, then workmanship and material already suspicious.

woot very ugly if piping for air cond run from living room to outside.....
the developer very smart-ass install air cond wiring at the middle of living room and far away from the compressor.

thats what i was trying to tell him.
how lar I want to touch anything in the wall.
tak kan lar I want to hack the wall, cut a hole there and then cement back so he got a job to repair.

he like degil and not talk about common sense.
he just blanket it out - you replaced air cond - goodbye.

I can accept if it make sense but internal piping rosak because I replace air cond outside of the wall.

if anybody got such experience, can share me any valid point to talk to him.

The the contractor that installed mine confirmed nothing to do with him.
He was not the taichi type because he actually spent time working on another ac that has some gas leak.

below air cond has dry surface and no water anywhere.
slightly over half a meter down, can see water inside the painting and water leak out of the switches due to hole/gap.

I am not sure which contractor will install the drainage pipe above the lighting switch socket.

Drainage pipe is straight down and will not leak unless there is a connecting elbow. You can try opening the ac casing cover and pour water at the mouth of the drainage pipe to see there is any blockage ... use as much water possible.

BTW, can you take a complete photo of the ac and light switches in one.

Simple fix without hacking is to install aircond pump which will bypass the original piping.

i tried to take the photo in 1 but then it would be difficult to see the water mark. I cant get a full picture that still able to show the water mark clearly.

there is actually another ac behind the wall of this air cond (for the living room).
i guess both air cond drainage pipe joined somewhere below and it leak there.

but air cond pump will result in a surface piping right flying across the room to the outside.
developer got a smart ass design the air cond location at middle of the room and living room, which is far away from the compressor.

Your unit is a condo?

Normally, aircond piping, it should go through the plaster ceiling instead of being inside the wall.

That looks more like aircond leaking.. Not from piping wor.

I suspect is the wall copper piping touching the switch socket wires and water drip down when condensation happens during ac running time.

The ac water outlet mouth is located right or left ?
