Another person looking for Apple leather case spotted

Looks like Apple accessories flying off the shelves this year. I don't remember any previous iPhones that generated so much interest in original Apple cases in LYN forum before

I ordered a Ringke as well but the seller sent me the wrong model, hahaha. Also ordered a Nomad leather case from US but not expecting that to arrive till early February 2021 as it ships out late January, hahaha...

Using the wrong sanitizer can remove the oleophobic coating from your existing screen protector so bit of caution is advised. Probably go for the cleaning grade alcohol solution etc. instead.

SenQ and Senheng have limited stocks of the Pro Max. Some ordered couple of weeks ago and haven’t received their stocks yet. Switch constantly updates their stocks on their FB page, not sure if they still insist on PWP bundle for EPP though.

Well, the only plus sides I see on the Pro Max vs the regular Pro is the larger battery and the incremental upgrade on the camera which some reviewers already commented it’s not that much different from the Pro in most regular uses.

The new design probably creates the hype. I think 12 is readily available at most places, but the 12 Pro and Pro Max has limited stocks at some outlets while others have ample stocks. Also depends a bit on luck and timing especially if you have a specific colour and storage in mind.

Yeah, agreed, you will only most likely appreciate the difference between the design of the 11 Pro Max and 12 Pro Max if you use the phones without a case. My wife concluded she liked the feeling of the 11 Pro Max better when used without a case coz the rounded edges makes it more comfortable to hold but with a case, all feels the same, hahaha...

Based on my personal experience and usage patterns, the 11 Pro Max will get me about 60-90 minutes more screen time. Standby times are about the same. And yes 128GB of storage is good enough based on that usage for your mum.

Buy new casing to make the phone looks new, hahaha...

Samsung has a history of motherboard failures

I'm a bit more careful when it comes to influencing folks to switch from Android to iOS coz it can backfire spectacularly in a sense that they might totally hate it. When I was younger and had a bit more energy I would engage endlessly in the iPhone vs Android debates but now I just tend to let that slide, hahaha. Of course I still get some friends asking my opinion coz they know I have a penchant for changing and trying phones but I always ask them two questions: 1. What is your priority in choosing a phone and 2. What is your budget? Then you find they actually end up answering their own question, hahaha...

But of course, in your friend's case it's totally different since she already has an iPhone X as a secondary phone. Gold will look very, very good with a saddle brown leather case

No worries. Yeah, the difference is not significant but it's there. The 11 Pro Max has a bigger battery and it shows though.

Stocks at Senheng for the Pro and Pro Max may be limited though. Best to call ahead and check to avoid disappointment.

I charge my 12 to 100% daily at night and will unplug when full at about 11pm-11.30pm every night. Then I go about the next day and usually put in about 5-6 hours SOT with 30% battery remaining or slightly less. The Pro Max will give me additional 10-15% battery remaining based on the same usage patterns. So after about 5 days of using the 12, I conclude the battery life isn’t outstanding, but it’s more than adequate.
