Oh i see thats why unable to add the esim, i went to digi express center and they Tried to change physical sim to esim success in system but when i try to add it keep show error.
Guess i need to go back to center and convert back to physical sim.
*
Wait wait. I confused myself. doh.gif
eSIM is OK, I'm using eSIM Amb 0 on my iPhone. I was referring to AirSIM for Apple Watch, that doesn't allow, you need at least RM 58 plan.
AirSIM and eSIM are two different things by the way.. AirSIM is for Apple Watch and eSIM is for iPhone.

Mine was 99% when I sold off this Tues. Wife’s is at 98% now. Both units bought during launch day. But I charge in air conditioned room la.
*
Very lucky for you and I think you are the only one here who still manages to maintain such high battery health, mine already dropped to 86% and tomorrow is just 1 year old. bangwall.gif
Really wish it drops to below 80% so that I can get rid of the battery and change a new one.

By the way, has anyone changed iPhone battery in the past, do we really need to leave our phone there for at least one day? I don't have any spare phone or iPhone to use temporarily.

I think changing battery nowadays are easier, I changed my iphone batt in 2019 at machines the curve, waited 3 hours (sent in at 11am, ready at 2pm) on a weekday.. the guy told me could be faster but its their lunch time  biggrin.gif
*
Good to hear this but due to pandemic, everything needs appointment. 3 hours is fine with me. blush.gif

Suddenly yours goes down 1% faster than mine  blush.gif
Yah, 3 hours is awesome. Get the earliest appointment, send in and come out just before lunch time..  rclxm9.gif

Anyhow, today is the last day for any possible free battery replacement as I received mine a day late. It might probably stays this way for a few more months based on experience. It is the point of time I am thinking why don't it get stuck at over 90% instead.  bruce.gif

Now that I have to pay for it, won't change mine until I experiences slowdowns or at 80%.
*
Warranty ends today for me. laugh.gif
I don’t wish to win this race but it keeps dropping non stop. sad.gif
I’m waiting for it to go down below 80% and will replace.

QUOTE(miyakochan89 @ Nov 13 2021, 12:26 PM)
free battery replacement?
how?
what's the condition?

Below 80% in a year.

Anyone having whatsapp call issue?
Sometimes audio call but not ringing, sometimes the other party cant hear me at all. Im on wifi and i can visit other sites without issue, whatsapp call works perfectly on my other android phone too.
Been wondering if this is an iphone problem...
*
Mine is OK though I don't receive WhatsApp calls frequently but it works.

Anyway, it is finally 2022. So it is time to change to new iPhone this year. tongue.gif

Cannot. Final month is October. sad.gif So let it be.

Maybe you use wireless charger too much which is not good for your battery life. Just use cable charger.
*
No such thing la.. I already stopped using wireless charger for a year, and my battery life is 84% now. laugh.gif 12 series is really having hopeless battery life. Got my 12PM on day 1 on MY launch date.

I tried out iOS Beta for fun yesterday and updated the firmware to 15.5. However, who knows, the official 15.5 was also just released today. laugh.gif

My question is, how can I download from beta to official? Or will it be auto-updated to official 15.5 and every time a new firmware is released?

Has anyone changed the battery for 12 PM? Where did you replace it? I'm thinking of replacing mine and probably using another year before switching to iPhone 15 next year or buying iPhone 14 this year, but this 12 PM will be my spare phone...

Haven’t tried changing before but it’s RM399 for battery replacement (including labour charges) from Machines.
https://www.machines.com.my/pages/service-labour-charges

What’s your battery health now? If your battery health isn’t below 80-85%, you don’t really need to change I guess.

☺️
*
I think it is RM 380 at Switch.

It is very bad... 81%... I guess it is bad for 12 series users. laugh.gif

ohmy.gif how your usability at 81%, as in how many hours can you still get out of it?

mine is at 84% and seems to still be able to retain about 40% at the end of the day - use to be around 50% when it was bought new  sad.gif

so sad.
*
Still OK, around 30-ish to 40-ish with quite heavy usage. If low usage, can still do around 70-ish.

My battery health haven't drop since august of last year. Still at ~87%  tongue.gif
What's weird is looking at coconut battery info (updated latest version) is looking at 97%  rclxub.gif
Only thing aligned with Apple version and coconut version is the battery cycles.

Would considering upgrade if it is not another stainless steel... there scratches all over the frame  bruce.gif

Previous aluminum is still pristined...I bet it would be better if it is titanium as rumored. Still not sure will upgrade. Have plenty of time to think after it is announced, right?
*
I’m thinking to change battery and probably stick to 12 until 15 is out next year.

QUOTE(XeactorZ @ Jul 5 2022, 06:06 PM)
Can try ask Doctor iDevice > https://www.doctoridevice.com/

review is good, some more no need leave the phone like other Apple Authorized Service Centre, they will replace the battery on the spot laugh.gif
*
Their price is more expensive because of the risk breaking screen when opening it.

QUOTE(dreamthief @ Jul 8 2022, 12:51 AM)
Didn't change for 12PM, but an old Iphone 6, iPhonx XS Max. I tried Machines, QCD (Berjaya), MacCity 1U, ITWorld. (it's either iPad or iPhone, MacBook service).

So far ITWorld the best experience, neat work in putting on back the glue and etc. Cleaning your phone before passing back to you. Same day replacement.
https://www.itworld.com.my/iPhone-Battery-R...acement-Program

I always say ITWorld is still "relatively unknown", even for new iPhone preorders. and they are like Machines when the early days.

Absolutely avoid MacCity. Crap service.

Machines too many people, QCD Berjaya, it's okay but i feel too much grandfather story and comparing to ITworld, bit slow.
*
IT World sounds good then. Thanks!
