the best bet is replacing the pad with beyer's pro pads. the premium pads are removable

My DT880 premium pads are getting sticky to a point it's starting to pull my hair out. sad.gif

my friend's premium pads also the same sad.gif but i see some ppl's are fine as when it was bought.. it might be caused by hair care products. did you use any sort of hair cream?
you can try asking jaben for the pro series pads. they are made of synthetic materials .. tho not as soft but i guess it wont get sticky overtime

im one XD ... looked exactly the same since i last bought and its easily replaceable if you can find the pad that is.. but it will not be as comfortable as your current pad
yea maybe its that which causes the pad to deteriorate.. do you at anytime wear the headphones with those on your hair?

Replaceable? Meaning needing to remove the 2 screw on each end to remove it?

what probrem? if its "brek brek" sound under heavy bass influence then it might be hair.. simply open the cap and clean the look like paper surface on the driver.. if you can see the hair lagi bagus. just pull it out

..and it should be fine after that smile.gif

dt990 very the boom boom and also sharp sharp.. dunno bout the premium but the pro series packs a deep punch to the crotch.. soundstage kinda smaller compared to 770 and 880 but still big (prolly due to leakage since its full open)
