How I wish when I digging out my old stuff, I will find a Sennheiser HD650 laying somewhere in the closet =P

start digging lol.. you wont know what you may find.. just like i found my house had a pair of pretty old kenwood bookshelf speakers.. which surprisingly is a working pair and they sounded damn good for something which is "free" doh.gif

u diy idea get wilder n wilder haha i surrender

isobaric??? i only read it in physics book, related to gas pressure right? what is this do with drivers??
*
two, identical, loudspeakers are coupled to work together as one unit: stacked one behind the other in a casing to define a chamber of air in between.. mostly used for woofers and sub-woofers
theoretically it should improve the bass of those ribbon tweeters but the casing is not easy to fabricate..
interesting mod i would say biggrin.gif ... hope to hear from it soon

DT770 pro ah.. its rather flat.. if pair with a wrong amp it will exaggerate the sound by alot
edge is not bad but the pro might suffer some slight detail lost in the highs (after all its best suited for the DT880 which is a whole diff sound sig as compare to the DT770 pro)
as you know pro series is flat and boring but if you want to bring out some musicality try the rudistor K3 which i think its the best for DT770 pro amongst all amps in jaben that ive tried

Why you get a 250ohm headphone for portable ? xD
*
you'd be surprise that the dt770 pro 250 ohm is pretty easy to be driven .. tho the mids are quite recessed if not driven enough

edge is good.. but if you have extra to spend .. try out linearossa k3 .its the best for DT770 pro @ jaben which i tried out so far ... tho its too coloured and musical for my liking ,but i guess you might like it (because i like flat response)

A1 eh.. if there's a chance i'll let you try the DT770 pro 250 on it
you will wish that your ears have arms to pull the sound back in place because of the over exaggerated soundstage tongue.gif (ms1000 is like a football field, then this is like 5 or more football field) but aside from that everything else is superbly balanced

Some other forums suggested to unscrew the screw a little bit... And i opened it just now... there ia a cotton layer on the cover, wonders if i take it off... will the sound quality be better
*
that comes to personal taste already.. i tried that and dont really like it

i meant the cotton.. it effects the sound presentation quite alot
the screw mod doesnt change the performance of the headset but to prevent the plastic from cracking..

beside the soft pad on the top of the headband if im not mistaken... there's 4 of them in total. just a slight 30-50 degree angle twist should be sufficient smile.gif
