there is already a 2nd batch for pre order? though pre order means we get to play it as one of the early batches...if not what is the pre order for?

digital stock are low, very very low, penang queensbay only had 2 unit for digital, not sure how many unit other retailers are getting

I don't get it though.

Digital version even though Sony may need to subsidize it more on the console, but they will make back more profit later from digital sales.
So why would Sony produce so little digital version?

probably they did a survey on digital vs disc version, i remembered i took that survey too. the result should be malaysian prefer disc version over digital

maybe allocated to other country? but majority consumer memang still prefer disc version, sony also knows that

because US,EU,AUS,JP have bought them all digital and left alot of disc version?

Malaysian choose disc version over digital bcoz most of us are PS4 user and have lots of PS4 disc. So getting a PS5 disc version is a better choice

But Sony wants to make the best profit, so they should sway the market towards digital version by limiting disc version availability

yea, that's one of the reason, and of course the most important there is resell value to minimize loss except sony decide to lock the disc to 1 console after insert into the console, then gamers will think twice

i think you are right. gamers in those countries probably bought most of the digital stock & we ended up getting all the disc version stock.

Also a console last more years before obsolete than flagship smartphones which turnover is every year

i have join 3 facebook group ps5 that over 100k member and mostly people prefer digital like 1 post about 10 comment 8 people said they get digital.and lots of people have digital library than phy.because digital games cheaps sales always happen and easy.

I really agree with them, that's why I'm also fully digital for PS4.

also i have found some playstation sharegame group that is private and planing to join the group when i get ps5 .so i can play free games with other people psn account.
