The first goal was a mistake started from lindelof for letting calvert head the ball towards bernard. Lindelof always let the opponents win in aerial battle unlike maguire. Its not his first time doing this.

I would not pin that on Lindelof.
I would pin that on the defensive assignment, Ole has to take that. Lindelof should absolutely not be assigned to mark Calvert-Lewin, it should have been Maguire.

Maguire is always the spare defender. It is always his junior partner that has to mark the striker.
When the opponent has a big striker up front, it would be logical to put our biggest guy (Maguire) on him and totally negate the aerial threat while his younger partner who has more pace can play the spare. But no, we keep putting the other defenders to mark the striker and it's causing problems for us defensively. See Tuanzebe in one of the previous match, and Lindelof here.

And how Mata starts over VDB is absolutely beyond me. Mata's done at this level, he doesn't have the engine to track. Digne was having a field day down the right totally unmarked.

Overall performance is decent

Maguire for the first time play CB which clear the high ball but still he play as sweeper which is again he rely on others

United individual performance is the key to Ole

And favouritism is always on Ole when Mata play but not VDB

Just imagine if Everton optimise attacking the right side that Wan Bissaka need to do all the defensive job when Mata's pace is not helping to defend

First half was very good. One of the best performances under ole.

2nd half was poor. Levels drop dramatically. Either fitness levels or tactically to hold lead.

The story would've been very different if everton had scored the goals that hit the post/woodwork in the first half. Also if doucore had scored any of his multiple chances towards the end of the second half.

Second half was all everton and the win was all down to bruno alone. It's one of those odd wins that doesn't really fill you up with much joy. Well at least utd has gone up one place to 14th.

and pls, no more martial in the starting line up. Rashford or Greenwood should lead the attack.

more like players lazy run and maintaining the intensity since having lead. which something i don't like, instead of killing the game off. whenever kena scored, then they gelabah and dunno where suddenly can find extra energy to press. if opponent able repel their att like 10-20 mins, then usually, the intensity will die off.

like vs chelsea and arsenal, the first half totally wasted with low intensity, and they don't mind since it's still 0-0.

yes, we keep doing the same mistake over and over thus that way i question what our coach doing.
lindelof i think better than maguire in term of going forward to help attacking force because he quite fast
