Allianz Malaysia Berhad has taken a transparent and effective approach in selecting its automobile repair service partners.
The company was the first insurer to hold an open tender to invite car workshops under the PIAM Approved Repairers Scheme to join its panel of repairers. The tender provided an equal opportunity to all repairers and aims to uplift the performance and service of its panel. A total of 660 applications were received and the company has approved 170 repairers.
“The industry demands good governance and accountability. With this exercise, repairers will be compelled to professionalise. It also allows us to keep to our commitment of ensuring the standard of services provided to our customers,” says Zakri.

Allianz Malaysia is the no 1 general insurer in Malaysia, it is only normal that they will have to take harder measures to curb fraudulent claims by shady workshops.
If not the insurer will be eaten alive by the massive claims by the unethical workshops. If you are sending your cars back to authorized panel workshops, you will be seeing faster repair time. Why would anyone send their cars to non panel anyway? You have something to hide?
