if banks (which are known to be less IT savvy) can implement it at a much earlier timeline, these so-called fintech companies are just taking their own sweet time to implement this

i believed their margin will be affected, so no rush to roll out
unless paynet is not charging anything, even that it will still be affected
previously whichever merchants they acquired, the pie is theirs, but soon merchants can use one single QR to accept all ewallets

yep, they want to delay it, but mandate from BNM (still loose) require them to be onboarded with DNQR.

this year would likely see the big ewallet players onboard DNQR, after about 1yr delay.

Waiting for next app update.

Tested to scan DuitNow QR code (pink colour) using TnG e-wallet but still saying invalid QR code.

I scan and it can detect the merchant name, I didn't proceed to pay though

I had tried 2 merchants but both also failed.

The two merchants can be successfully scanned using ShopeePay.

And the build version is very buggy and slow (lagging).

Clicks App only support for QR Pay - DuitNow QR payment to merchant mode

Let me try to scan another DuitNow QR merchant tomorrow and see.

i just scan my own M2U duitnowqr linked to my savings account also showing my name, I thought they did not allow it? Will try to pay myself Rm10 see can get stamp or not, lol

Can I use QR pay to transfer money to my friends/family?
At the moment, QR Pay is only available to be used for transactions at selected merchants. We are currently exploring to expand the QR Pay functionality to cover other payment options in the future.

The DuitNow QR code merchant that you scanned is registered with bank?
The two that I tried is registered with Maybank and Public Bank.
