Im running it in the car on the way into bukit bintang.. The signal is relatively low if compare to the time i used it in euro country...  The signal is higher as the satelite bar is quite long and won't dc frequently..

hmm... anyway, N95 GPS chipset is not a really good one... sigh...

I would like to ask regarding the Music Player. Once we create a new playlist, can we add the songs from a specific path from the memory card instead of adding all the songs?

speedtest.net laa tongue.gif  although t bluetooth pop up ballon shows only 115.2 kbps between my phone and t pc, but the speedtest i can reach speed wayyyy over that rclxms.gif the 115.2kbps or whatever speed shown in the ballon is insignificant, iianm, everytime i connect with cable it will show 460.8 kbps nia. anyway i could be wrong though tongue.gif  laugh.gif
*
Actually the 115.2kbps can be set to high speed. Just go to network connections - ur dialing network - properties - configure - then u can change the maximum connection speeds.
WTH just the number changed, speed i guess is about the same. smile.gif

I notice that the equalizer, stereo widening, loudness only applies when we play a song in music player. Ringtone doesn't have the effects sad.gif

Of course it doesn't...

For ringtones, u can only apply 3D effects such as Trajectory & Reverberation.

Seems like it only apply inside Music Player... I wish I can do it outside the Music Player, lets say in the file manager, I choose what song I want and add it into the playlist. Anyway can do it?

This is because in the Music Player, it show me all the midi I have including the songs and ringtones, but I only want those songs include into my playlist, not the ringtones.

I was wondering the usage of the "Pencil button" in N-series....
Here is my finding... correct/add if you have any input....

1. copying and pasting text - Hold it down whilst moving over text, press copy. To paste hold down the pencil key and press paste. cool2.gif

2. Mark and Unmark selection - thumbup.gif
For single selection, Pencil + navigation keys
For multiple selection, Pencil + navigation center button.

Read somewhere else can be the shortcut to print screen. Pencil + 0?? Anyone has any ideas on this??

*Read the user manual for more information.

BTW, I used to misunderstand that my baby N95 marking selection is lousy... need to go "Option->Mark/Mark All" one by one....

SORRY MY DEAR N95 cry.gif

very useful info, thanks! smile.gif

btw, regarding the print screen feature, u need to install a 3rd party software named "screenshot for symbian OS" in order to print screen by pressing pencil + 0 (u can change it).

try to format your phone (*#7370#) or restore factory setting or flash your firmware or consult Nokia service centre...

My friend's phone (not nokia) encountered such problem b4 and found out was some defect... not sure about your case, good luck... biggrin.gif

Just came across from other forums and i found this.

Dunno whether it's true but no harm to try.

Speed up your symbian OS 9.1

We know that n73 with lastest firmware is a little bit slow.let's try it to make our smartpfone faster than before...

SPEED UP YOUR PHONE UP TO 40%!!!!!Yes!! That truth guys!!!!! Its work on my 3230 and also 6600, n-gage and etc......... Just follow this trick.......

First go to ur To-do List.
Make a note and input as follows
Subject: Speed
Due Date: 29-01-2005(dd-mm-yy)
Priority: set to High
then press Done

Go to option again and make a second note and input as follows
Subject: Qoukie
Due Date: 29-01-2005(dd-mm-yy)
Priority: set to Low
then press Done

Do not exit yet. Highlight the Speed note, select Options and Mark as done.
Then highlight the Qoukie note, select Options and Mark as done.
Now, reboot your mobile.
