Yes, it's Swiss Made and automatic as written. But ST is now owned by HK company, most probably the reason of the anti-ST we saw from most of /ktards except for a few like you.
Yup, I was attracted by its clean, simple and classic dial design
It’s fine that it’s owned by a HK company. Even the forum favorite, Ball watch company is owned by a Hong Kong conglomerate but that doesn’t make it any less Swiss.
By definition, these brands produce Swiss made watches. The watches were cased up in Switzerland (yes, even your watch) and must contain Swiss Movement. The final finishing needs to be done in Switzerland and it is stipulated that 50% of the costs of producing that watch must be in Switzerland in order for it to be “Swiss made”. There is a regulatory body that stipulates what can be called “Swiss made” or “Swiss” and what must be labeled as “Swiss Movement”.
Ktards here are no more knowledgeable than you are. Even their Grand Seiko which they thought of to be equal to Vacheron Constantin is unfinished on hidden parts inside the movement as they only do finishing on parts which are visible through the see through caseback.
Every other part inside the Grand Seiko movement are not finished well if at all. I bet most ktards don’t even realize that.
Vacheron, Patek and Audemars would finish each and every part of the watch, even on parts which are only visible when you take the watch apart. They meticulously hand finished everything. Hence the price.
So don’t let them and their love for seiko get to you. It’s you who is going to wear that watch and not them. The most important thing is that you love it.
I can tell you that your watch looks really nice and from a distance, looks like a watch from the trinity or big three.
