Check with you, can TV install Netflix & youtube work?

Cannot install Android apps. No playstore and it's China smart tv software.

I'm ok with that as I use YouTube on CoreElec and it's without ads even my account is not premium. Don't need Netflix if you have CE with RealDebrid

I think you can still sideload the apk since its android

Im aware on this just confirm it again. seeing new TV all with 64gb ram it would be great without all the TV box wire...
share more of CE Real debrid ... possible have streaming HDR without download the file?

Answer is Yes and No, if it required google service & netflix cert installation will not be that easy....

Buying TV models for China market, has zero support for software and hardware.

Yes for hardware issue and some software. Hardware now days is very stable and for me anything electrical appliance used more that 3 year will be bonus.

I try that on my previous Hisense by trying to sideload YouTube but it won't install. Haven't try it on my 85"TCL though. I'm working offshore now so cannot try. Will try when I go home and post the results here.

Coreelec is the best solution for me now. CE is basically Kodi but it a better standalone version built on Linux. It's very fast and stable. For home theater enthusiast who have surround systems that supports Dolby True HD Atmos, DTS Master Audio and DTS-X, CE can passthrough all without any problem. If you run Kodi on Android tv box with android version 8 and above, you cannot passthrough those HD and master audio anymore because google remove it for some reasons. So all the newer tv box all cannot support HD audio passthrough anymore if you run Kodi under Android. However if you run CE on all this newer TV box, you will be able to passthrough all the HD audio because the amlogic chipset does support it. It's Google that removes HD audio support.

Anything that I really like is that CE supports auto frame rate switching flawlessly. So all your movies will playback at the actual 24fps.

CE with addon like EZRA with a RealDebrid account allows you to stream direct. CE supports streaming 4k HDR contents . I can watch HDR10+ 4k content and so far tlno Dolby Vision support yet . But HDR10+ is good enough for me as I can't see much difference between dolby vision.Ño more download required.

I can live with that. When I pay half the price when compare to Malaysia, I can buy another should it breaks down 3 years later with the money I save. Then I just buy a newer and better tv 3 years later

Possible to only claim the remote warranty?
mine one sometimes the buttons will suddenly increase or decrease rapidly /malfunction..

example :
press increase volume once and it will suddenly shoot up high...
or select YouTube videos it will move rapidly...

Check your battery or it's paired with TV ?
Possibly can claim....
