QUOTE(PCcrazy @ Sep 13 2007, 06:54 PM) Speculate...........and conspire against you...MUAHAHAHAHhahahhaha...No la...ive laid out a proper programme for my FSONE development...I feel that i have to change my driving style alot to go fast in f1. I started this league with gt cars, v8, megane and f3...most of them are tin-top and ive learned the way to drive a simcar with those cars. With f1, and with my newly acquired driving style with all the experience i have with MSR, (GG remember all those crazy hours practicing in Donnington?) I need to adopt to F1....really. Programme from , software, controller setup, graphics....everything...just like the real thing.... Disclaimer : If i have the discipline to do it tho.....LOL |

I was driving nfs and f1 games (f12000, gpl, gp3) offline before finally managed to join MSR....those days i did it with my keyboard Only starting with f12002, when i finally got myself a wheel (MS Sidewinder FF) did i start to learn to race. I started with f1 but using the worng techniques....when i joined MSR i had to unlearned all to be competitive. This post has been edited by maranello55: Sep 14 2007, 05:36 PM |

QUOTE(PCcrazy @ Sep 16 2007, 04:39 AM) Yup you are right, everything is the same. It's just that in terms of immersion and track geometry the BMW Nuerb is a notch better. The jaggered edges have been smoothened and it feels better overall and it adds to the fun factor when you drive over hundreds of laps. Well I'm only proposing to the Admins and of course the final say will be your rights and I will go with any decision. I'm trying to make aware of something out there that generally feels better to me and some others out there. Tried it...like it....I might seem a little bit picky when it comes to the track I drive, but just to let you know I'm flexible over things and whatever the outcome I will have utmost respect for MSR organizers and I will still give my all to support this league. Just to add a bit here, being rFactor there is always going to be this argument. Mods, Tracks, Updates, Physics and Upgrades are abundant. The simmers have always had their own preferences just like you and me. The only cons of running this new BMW nurb is only it's a bit heavy on graphics and at some sections of the track where there are lotsa details in the background the graphics seems to stutter a bit. I only fear of those running mid g.cards. Well they can voice out and veto the change and I will defienetly land an ear to seek out solutions to their predicaments. And i tested it back to back with my f2006 default setup...it feels that the BMW Nueburg is grippier than the ISI one. Plus i feel the approach to turn 3 is slightly different. (The elevation) The problem tho lies at the exit to the back straight (the one that has a big green extra run area after the curb). Its not as inviting as the ISI ones....u can unsettle ur car if u take that run off with an unbalanced car. And here is the death-trap...you better brake or die approaching the final chicane coz no matter how fast u hit them, the tyre barriers ain gonna budge. LOL But i can fix that. I lowered my graphics to medium when it comes to these FPS killler tracks...just to be sure the main feature is not taken out. So far great FPS on my rig for both.... Immersion....both has got something to give. Personally I'll drive anywhere u throw me. Its down to personal preference. Just look at those v8 go through Eau Rouge last nite!! |

One thing about F1 cars is its braking....its totally different than other cars...The brakes are so capable that u have to use it to the max. Thus the driving style may vary abit from driving other cars.
Im intending to carry the braking into the corner deeper than usual without losing the needed traction to exit the corner.... With bahrain, with its long corners, braking deeper into it means longer full throttle time thus cutting time to get around the track. |
