This is another one.....although for GT cars, but it tells you which u can feel only without refering to telemetry....or which changes can be felt only with 1-2 laps testing or u have to look at telemetry data.

First, m no sifu or race expert...LOL

Previously yes...all the time because it was interesting to see how my driving was interpreted into charts and graphs.
But now, only to check my tyres..

Reason being, with the refinements of ffb thru realfeelffb plugin, i can setup the car by 'feel'...
I know when im understeering, oversteering, when i lock the brakes, when im going to slow or fast.

I use motec to compare test times especially when it comes to tyre temperatures.

E.g. Two different compounds, pressure n camber runs and overlay it together and see the difference. I also see the tyre wear rates with my setup and driving style and from there i can project how long my tyres will last without spending that extra laps testing. U can also find that extra grip by adding tyre pressure if u see the mid temperature of ur tyre is too low compared to the side ones. (inflated, over inflated).

U might not see the difference much over 3-4 laps but in a race like what we are going to have soon, (75% real life racelength) a tenth of a second a lap gap will become 1 second gap in ten laps.
Provided u lap consistently...but thats a different story.

Im not very good at suspension analysis with motec tho. I 'feel' the suspension characteristics during test....too stiff, understeering, or too soft oversteering and make changes. And see how the suspension changes affect the tyre temperatures in motec.

This his how i do my race starts using the launch ctrl. First u got to set the button for it. I set it on one of my MOMO button.

Ryugan brought this up during last nite's test race. We need to reduce race start spinning and focus more on race start manouvres

Basically, if u feel the steering spins into the corner (sort of steering assist) then u got it wrong. if the value is -100 then switch it to positive value.

If the positive value too stiff, then reduce it to be less than 100.

Are u using RealFeelPlugin, jacky?

My plan is to have everything adustable....

seating height, wheel height and angle, lcd screen position...to me seating is the most important for long endurance race...
