U might need a driver cleaner to uninstall all nvidia related drivers in a safe mode. Google for 'Driver Cleaner Pro'. After that restart normally and install ur onboard graphic driver.

Sounds like u got multiple pit speeding penalty. Uve been prompted to stop and go one after another rite? I'll watch the replay and see. I had the same prob previously...still dunno wut izzit.

Did u get any notice after u serve that stop n go? or after the stop n go u go out for a while and half a lap after that, u have another stop n go notice?

PCcrazy, u had another brakes failure? Were u following someone? same failure?

I had brakes wearing at lap 37 or so....and lost sometime trying to adapt to new bias but after that everything is fine.

Im still not comfortable with the car...most of the time understeers into a corner but manage to get a good exit speed.

In Bahrain, most corners have a second racing line. U take this line to overtake or get out from corner entry mistakes. So i was lucky.

The arrows n the flag means drive through i think. If its stop and go it would be a traffic light sign red and green.
When it auto select to the pit menu u should see wut type of penalty u should serve and no u cant choose the type of penalty. Its fixed.

You should serve the penalty on the same lap to be safe....im not sure how many laps u'll have before u got DQ for denying penalty. But ur first pit to fix ur rear wings and ur second pit changing tyres are enuff laps to be classified as denying penalty so rfactor DQ u.

I'll post clarification on the types of penalty soon.

U mean just before the stop u cant go to the pit menu and select ur tyre compound? I'll look into this. or u can try selecting ur tyre change before the race starts.

Added on October 22, 2007, 4:40 pmBefore u start racing, u should know the rules. We have announced this mod a more than a month ago and not knowing which rules used is unacceptable.

Instead of doing test runs and finding the best setup for the car, we all should do test runs, online or offline. For example if anything goes wrong in ur offline race, dont restart. Learn how to deal with that mistake and u'll gain invalueable experience. Because in real simraces in our league...there wont be any restart except in a circumstances that has been stated in the rules.

Practice starting, practice pitting, practice getting out of a spin, everthing. Because these are wut races are comprised of and the inefficiency of a racer to be good at anyone of it can cause him time and ultimately the race.

Your opponent is consistently 0.5s per lap slower than u but u had a poor pit stop, ull be likely to lose ur lead over him.

The racing starts even before the race starts.

Read the articles posted in our forum abt simracing. Its a good article.

U have to install a bridging plugin from rfactor to motec first which is the Data Acquisition Plugin.

Be warn about activating data acquisition during races, it eats up ur proc power and drop ur fps.

Btw shah, a piece of advice, would need to get urself familiar with the f1 car first before u can start to understand the usage of motec.

Edison, it will not load the gpu much...but only the proc. And moreover in TheXxBestxX case, his dont have a gpu, the onboard graphics shares processing with the proc. So it will impede his processing power and his graphics thus his fps.

Anyway, the best thing for u to do now is to buy a decent GC....or get back a 7600gt.

You'll have an extra around rm1000 u can get a new mobo and a new proc.

Thats why i thought selling that 7600gt was a little silly

if u take the 8 series it'll bottlenecked by ur existing rig anyway. also getting 8 series will mean new mobo, new ram and new proc. and also ur HDD...8 series wont survive even with ur chaplang PSU.

Thats y i said get a new mobo, proc that suit ur budget, and a 7600gt. I see thats the best option for now. Getting a laptop with 1.5k as a budget wont bring u any better gaming either.

U can launch v8 mod without someone hosting it. U got through v8 mod without momo while running into other ppls car in races...u missed that?

Yup...gluing it will fix it....permanently. As an add-on measures, use DXtweak2 to futher fine tune the axis raw and dx input.
