u mean the screen backlight or the keypad's? the keypad's backlight does blink when there's incoming SMS.

just found out some mod drivers for the camera & sound . haven't tried it out yet.

from the forums, those who have tried commented that camera's ouput is much much more better than the original ones. able to record videos @ 21fps or more & sound is louder & clearer. gonna mod mine after my finals.

guys..just modded my K770i's sound driver to Acoustic TNE v4.0 - Middle Sound & iBass. sound is much more louder & clearer compared to the original one. abit more bassy too. tested Extreme Audio III too but the sound is like distorted at high volume, not impressed. Dmitogor & TopSE v1.1 K-Series is at second place, just abit less bassy compared to TNE's. it's quite & sharp loud too. 

anyway, here the guide on how to mod the drivers.

1. Install the USB Flash Drivers, you can get it here.
2. Open XS++. Shut down your your phone.
3. Click 'Connect'. Connect your phone while pressing & hold the C button using the USB cable.
4. Information of K770i will be extracted. Click on FSX then 'Start FSX'.
5. XS++ will then extract your phone's file system strcuture. wait till it's finished.
6. Open the directory as follows : IFS->SETTINGS->ACOUSTICS
7. Drag & drop all the 44 files into the mentioned directory.
8. Click 'Shutdown'. (remember this step!)
9. Disconnect your phone.

would like to get some reviews from you guys about the quality of the new drivers. it's definitely better than the original ones, but how good are the modded ones?

What is XS++?

XS++ is a program required if for flashing of SE phones. including firmwares & modifying its contents.

hey guys, i would like to purchase an AP set of K770i, soft black colour.

I've ordered it a week ago, but still not available yet.

WTA is black colour being highly demanded in market?

I'm a noob of using this phone's camera as this is my first time of using a cyber-shot camera phone (besides sony digicam ) .. before this all walkman phones... so i dont exactly get the meaning of macro/infinity and auto focus or the scenes selection... portrait etc etc...

USB Flash Drivers is it a must? coz when i install it by Xp hw wizard, it can make use of it in the begining at all. 

i'm not sure whether is it a must but i think you do NEED it for XS++ operations.

guys i wanna know b4 i buy what problems does this phone has? i heard the 3.2 MP is like same quality with 2MP ..its not like other cybershot models like k800 n etc..n it doesn't have auto focus n zoom? n also i heard the keypad color will come out ..the keypad color comes out for which model? is it brown one?.

i went 2 buy it recently n the sales person keep telling me dont buy this n she showed me to  cheaper phones..it seems this phone not worth buying

i think when the computer prompt you of USB drivers when plugging in the USB cable to the phone, install 'em. forgot the process but should be like that.

i won it now for over 1 month already, it is very nice phone with autofocus, really lot better than those 2mp cellphone actually.
very weird ler, coz i follow the instruction link from ur post there, windows keep showing none inf file found.    does xs++ got provide any other alternative driver for it ar? sorry waste ur time to guide me.
