just got my truffle brown back from the service centre after 2 weeks. one of the IC is faulty. anyway, it's kinda fast & efficient service from Telstra. gotta take some time configure my settings & install the flash themes all over again.

I went there and do the replacement. RM180 Full original housing

finally get back your truffle brown baby..but it quite efficient to get it back in 2 weeks time..

guys..where to see the list of latest FW for K770i?

Got back my black k770i...the phone stall replaced me a new set!!!

Last time I complaint the squeeking W910i , the SE original store was soooo reluctant to replace me a new set that finally i sold it off and told myself Never buy from the SE shop anymore ...

K770i now comes in black casing? (as in original casing?)

last time my orig W850i seesaw issue same "so reluctant" to solve it.

Orig/AP also got black/silver/blue color ya

So far I found was Ori....I bought Ori set from the phone stall...

aww sorry, kind of detached from SE phones now

all this while i am aware that K770i has silver/purple/brown only.

Bought from Mahkota Parade in Malacca... Now the back cover of the phone is tight tight...

u mean the screen backlight or the keypad's? the keypad's backlight does blink when there's incoming SMS.

just found out some mod drivers for the camera & sound . haven't tried it out yet.

from the forums, those who have tried commented that camera's ouput is much much more better than the original ones. able to record videos @ 21fps or more & sound is louder & clearer. gonna mod mine after my finals.

For K770i, when we slide open the Lens cover, there will be two LED lit on the back cover .

But for T650i, these two LED will lit when there is Incoming SMS, which is very cool......

So I am thinking whether we can mod any related files to make this happen in K770i as well ...

Finally I got the light effect files from T650i...Super Duper COOL!!!!!!!!!

I will upload both T650i and K770i light effect files so you can revert to the original K770i light settings anytime.

Recommended files from T650i to replace K770i light effect:

1) messaging.ble -> Blue LEDs will lit (including back panel) when there is incoming SMS. The cons is, only blue LEDs on your keypad will lit. No more dancing white keypad lights. (This is Original T650i settings, you can try this version, or the version that I modified from the Original K770i)

2) REMINDER.ble -> Dancing Keypad Light

3) SYSTEM.BLE -> More obvious Keypad Effect when using T650i themes. (Won't be useful if you are not using T650i themes)

4) MT_CALL -> When there is incoming calls, blue keypad lights will also lit up. In a normal K770i, only white keypad light is lit up. (updated 24th April)

The file system is FS\TPA\PRESET\SYSTEM\lighteffect\systemeffects

just reflashed my phone. the light ambient sensor is like malfunctiong. screen will be dark during daylight (under the sun) but not in bright-lighted rooms (like at night). very weird problem. took 4 hours to learn how to flash a phone properly.

currently on Generic World R8AA018. but not more Chinese character viewing/typing. couldn't get myself a APAC FS.

anyway, credits to vandechrome for having the patience to guide me thru my flashing session.

btw skyer, u seems to have mod alot of your K770i. is the phone still stable?

teikwing, I only play with the system settings of K770i and didn't touch the firmware area, so everything is normal.

May be you can try to search in sebbs.it168.com for the APAC file...

In the mean time, I will let you know if I found one.
