I cannot decide between the 12 or the 12 mini.. even after watching plenty of reviews.. Can u guys share why u will choose a mini over the 12?

Currently im using 3-4 years old iphone 7 32gb. I dont have any issue with the phone actually beside , the weak battery (60% health now), and the crazy small storage that I need to back up my photos to googlephotos every week.

I dont play any games on it, and just casual browsing fb/youtube, cause I actually prefer to do those directly on my pc or ipad mini anyway. My main purpose of the phone is to use it to shoot photos/video especially my kid. and normal phone call and whatsapp.  Im not sure if i'll regret to stick to the smaller phone.. And will upgrade to the bigger 12, make me use my phone differently ... but same time im a bit hesitate also, cause I feel like I should be more productive and should cut down my time on my phone/social media...

I like to hear maybe those coming from bigger phone to the smaller mini.. whats ur thought and experience with it.

Just spent 30-45 minutes toying around with both the 12 and the 12 Mini. Decided the 12 was bit more practical for me especially for typing. Also the larger screen estate makes the notch for the FaceID camera and sensor look less comical as it does on the Mini, hahaha. I think the Mini is OK if you’re not a heavy user but if you’re gonna use your phone to shoot videos of your kid then probably the larger screen and the battery of the 12 would be better in the long run.

I came from a 6.59 inch android phone. Currently using the Mini it's one of the best phones to hold. One hand usage is just so easy. I mainly just text, read and take lots of photos/videos. Will only watch some youtube videos sometimes and the OLED is very crisp and sharp. Think the Mini has the highest PPI in any Iphone now.

I think the form factor on the Mini is just so well proportioned over the bigger 12. One of the best phones I've had in a long time.

My phone history is like Galaxy Tab 7 inch -- Iphone 4s --- Iphone 5 --- Iphone 6s plus --- Galaxy Note 8 --- Iphone 11 and now Iphone mini

I guess my usage is similar to yours... I have iPad pro...  I was looking for iPhone 12 pro... when I went into Machine... that time they haven't release the pro...  but once I saw the mini... I just fall in love with the size...

now after maybe 3 weeks or maybe a month... I love the mini... I do not miss larger display size... only problem that I can think of is when I put the
mini on my car holder... the power button is obstructed by the phone holder...

Thanks for the sharing... after much consideration. I probably will go for the 12. My reason being I have used the small iphone 7 small screen for so many years, and moving to a bigger screen ip12, may give me more "perceived" value. I will like to explore if I will use it differently, maybe I will find myself try gaming on it, which i almost never did with the 7, or some other more productive work. Maybe after a few months, if I dont see myself using the phone differently compare to my small 7, I may consider selling or swapping with those using the mini, but find themself wanting the bigger screen instead. Also, accessories , casing, screen protector etc... cost the same for ip2 vs mini.. eventhough Mini should use less leather or smthing..

I hope I wont regret with my purchase though

Hahaha - bingo! Blue doesn’t look that eye catching to me when I was toying with it after 10 minutes or so. Liked the red much better, plus it contributes a bit to charity

Seems like my full tempered glass cannot match with spigen case

Whenever I put on spigen case, there’ll be bubble at the edge of my tempered glass. Is it okay to use like this?

Are you ok with the bubble at the edge of your tempered glass? If you dun like it, then change your casing o. If you are okay with it, then i guess just go on with using your spigen case.

Btw will it affect my real screen? I like spigen case le

hahaha....red still more appearing... but but.... after I used my red mini for a while, I feel white probably more easy to match with any color of casing. 

I think the best color is graphite on the pro. After i got the blue IP12, i thnk the black is better to match with anything.

I like the sides of the blue ip12. The matte blue is so sexy!
