I have seen the physical dual-sim iPhone 12 being sold on Carousell & Forum but not the mini model?

No, you will add maxis and digi esim profile into the phone.
It can store 10 profiles.

You choose which one you want to use at one point in time.

Don’t buy that, go for esim, it is much better as convenient to use. Physical sim are outdated.

However high tech and "convenient" it sounds to use esim, wait until the need to swap SIM cards occurs. Nothing beats the convenience of being able to hot-swap SIM cards.

Especially in Malaysia where the big telcos, despite being "e"-SIM, still want you to be personally present at their outlet to do any change of esim. Whereas MVNOs like Yoodo and Tune are fine with app/ email request to swap/ change esim.

Even HK/ Macau iPhone 12 minis are nano + eSIM.

You still have your primary number SIM card

I removed the screen protector and everything is fine now. The issue is bothering me.

There are no dual-sim iPhone 12 mini. Even China model only get single-sim for iPhone 12 mini.

I just got myself an iPhone 12 from Apple authorised store, when I went to Digi to get my eSIM, the staff said mine seem to be not malaysia set coz the series number has no MY in it. is it true?

Starting with iPhone 12, there is no longer “MY” set, except for telco ones. So, if you buy it from Machines or Switch, it will be ZP set and it’s legit. Just show them the receipt if they insist otherwise.

Anyone using iPhone 12 having issue with ringtone? Mine doesn’t ring loudly even though I’ve set the ringtone volume to highest. It sounds muted though the vibration is there. Hope this is a software buy or something.

Still left with 40ish% by 9pm

I start noticing the one bought Mini is really treating the phone as a phone. Mainly use as phone call, social media messaging, light usage of media consumption.

But not a device that trying one fits all with photography, youtube, editing, browsing and everything else.

Thanks for the clarification. Long time no use iPhone since iPhone 5. A lot to catch up.
