Hey guys, preordered my 12 from lazada apple store on 11.11 and received it on 14.11 evening! Really speedy delivery, but i guess only for the non pro model...

Got myself the apple silicone case, feel good and look great.... but read somewhere saying that apple silicone case doesn't last, usually only for a year or less... is this true?

Yes it does picks up dust and lint easily!

Received the Baseus magsafe charger today... works like the apple magsafe charger! Comes with strong magnet and has the magsafe charging animation too!

Got it from Lazada 12.12 chup dulu at RM61 including shipping... it's RM57 now with voucher on lazada

I have the same issue but it goes away after a restart with the case on.

Enjoy your new case but do take note that the corner will suffer some peeling after certain numbers of in and out of the pocket due to rubbing... mine is already shinny at the top corners of the phone

I'm one that pampers the phone too, and since I stayed home most of the time during CMCO, it's seldom in my pocket as well... Just went out these 2 days to the office and noticed the shinny part this morning already

Bought the case from Machines and the 12 Pro forum mentioned that reseller seldom layan warranty claims for cases

Not really often actually, only like used it in the office for 2 days... its usually on the table at home Nov-Dec 2020 due to CMCO stay home stay safe period... I think Spigen liquid air is more durable, but the surface of the apple silicone is of a different level of satisfaction lah...


Yea original Apple silicone case

I have the Baseus simple magsafe 15W charger instead, charges at 15W only when battery is below 20%, will go back to 10W or 7.5W above 20%... need to use 20W or 30W adapter with USB-C PD3.0 9V 2.22A or 9V 3A for max 15W charging... works with apple 20W, Anker 20W and my Aukey PA-D1 30W charges.

The white version seem to have better magnet than the black one and can stick to my spigen ultra hybrid.

Supports PD 3.0, i think the aliexpress and Lazada shop has the latest info. Lazada selling cheaper than shopee too

Thanks! I really love the slightly blue-ish black look, the same goes for the original apple silicone case that's grey-ish blue-black... too bad the coating on the case degrades so quickly and not worth the price!

Btw just to update, i've contacted both Machines and Apple support, both says that this kind of discolouration is normal and not covered under warranty.

And another update, bought those higher quality Grade AAA copies of the mag safe apple silicone case from Shopee at RM40 to try out... Silicone feel is 98% the same, but the copy version attracts even more dust and lint! Making it very annoying to use...

Currently rocking my Spigen ultra hybrid with black sides, good case! but abit on the heavier side... Hoping to try out the spigen liquid air next!

Just received my Spigen liquid air - navy blue... the blue is something like pacific blue which will shift to different shades under different lighting conditions...

Case is heavier than apple silicone case, and less grippy too... but feels more durable plus doesn't stick dust and lint as much as the apple silicone case...
