Individual army might do that, but that is certainly not what the order given.

As I said earlier, this drone is easy to jam. Wait another 2 weeks and see if they can still fight effectively.

Theoretically they are targetable with AAA and SAMs too, but it depends on 1) how well-maintained those systems are and 2) how competent the crews are

Azerbaijanis possessing the weapon doesn't mean anything if they're not good at tactically employing them

They are fighting in Azerbaijan's soil yes? Why are the Armenians there in the first place?

When former empires collapsed people started drawing lines on a map without any regards for its inhabitants. The area has 90% Armenian population. This is an unprovoked attack by Turkey using Azerbaijan as it's warzone and Syrians as ground troops. Azerbaijan by itself is not that ambitious.

Meanwhile malaysia baru setup dtone squadron

https://www.freemalaysiatoday.com/category/...-to-fly-drones/

KUALA LUMPUR: The Royal Malaysian Air Force will set up a squadron for operating unmanned aircraft systems in the near future, air force chief General Ackbal Abdul Samad said today.

The UAS squadron would take over 11 Squadron, which currently operates the Su-30MKM fighter aircraft. The fighter jets will be reassigned as 12 Squadron.

He said this in a special message to mark the RMAF’s 62nd anniversary today.....

cold war era SAMs are built to deal with supersonic jets and high flying U-2s. difficult to believe that it cannot handle subsonic , low altittude , unstealthy opponents

i think what most likely happened is that the SAMs were the first targets to be taken out with help from ground based intel

While you're right that the drones are in a sense quite vulnerable (which is why things like Predator and Reaper have been deemed useful only for insurgency work), they are also not quite as vulnerable as it might seem

Azerbaijan's SAMs are things like SA-4 and SA-6 on one end of the spectrum, and Iglas on the other. Both are pretty damn old and not optimised for the job.

They don't need ground based intel. Look up the Bekaa Valley, this isn't even the first drone vs SAM fight.

More importantly, what is the operational readiness and training proficiency of the Azerbaijani SAM operators...?

Assalamu'alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh to Muslim
& Good day to the rest

Armenians having hard time
with TB2 Bayraktars
according to their internal messaging
in RU platforms.

They are saying that
Harops are easier to handle
but TB2 drones are almost invincible
and ultra hard to shoot down.

They also accept that
none of them are downed so far.

(For your information,
this one only relate to drone issue,
not SAM)

The confusion is probably because Harop is a loitering munition, basically a cruise missile. It hovers over the battlefield and then "suicide" attacks into a target. Therefore it is most likely that the attack is being confused as "shot down"
