QUOTE(Fyrekat @ Dec 14 2007, 04:20 PM) Last I heard Singapore isn't in Malaysia... And if I'm not wrong, there will probably be a Last Chance Qualifier on Thursday (the day before the PT itself!) so all the hopefuls got one final chance to fight for a place Yes, Singapore is not Malaysia, but if ppl can travel to Kuching for a PTQ, Singapore might as well be like Malaysia for qualifying purpose. As for the last chance qualifier, it is a freaking grinder that starts at 4.00pm, and will most probably ends at 2-3am, depending on number of players (129-256 players means 9 rounds, 1 hour per round plus 1 hour to register and build deck) . Not to mention you will have to play with max of 1 loss to have a chance to hit top 4. (most probably you can only afford to lose at the last 2 round to stand a chance as your tie breaker need to be very good)

Errr, you have to cast geae's might before you attack, if not you only get +2/+2 for each geae's might

QUOTE(qjwong @ Feb 29 2008, 08:59 AM) Actually, Manawerx's tournament has better prize support than mine -> Total boosters given on MMU's tournament = 56 Total boosters given on Manawerx's tournament = 78 It's just so happened that I have a better support for the top end rather than it being better spread out. But hopefully people can understand how Manawerx 's prizes is subsidized by Wizards of the Coast, but unfortunately, not mine. I would have loved to extend prizes to at least the top 32, at least Come, come to Melaka this Saturday. It's only a 2 hour drive, so can make 1 day trip for the event, and also on the main event GACC2008, and makan.... before going back to KL for the city champs trials on Sunday. You get to test your standard deck for final tweaks before the city champs trails.

Well, WotC did remove 1 PT to use the money to support grass root players. So lets see how this would help the local small tourney scene.

QUOTE(Playbook @ Mar 25 2008, 04:15 PM) Definitely confirm. I am going to look up apartments / hotels in the vicinity of the tourney site, do let me know if you come across any interesting ones (i.e. cheap & nice). Mark, I'll be going as well. Will PM you my contact details. As for the tourney, they already announce the location? Don't think I see it on wizard's website.
