Heh, I thought only me having this problem, lately I found this joystick is rather not responsive enough compared to when I first got this phone the joystick was still ok.. But now is like not so responsive and its only like 3rd month old

i used it 1 year + 4 month ed...joystick still working well...

aiya..how my lappy cnnot detect the hp ..mcm mana mau buat as modem -.- ..suda rugi rm8 for clcom daily broadband -.-" detect m2 and hp for transfer files ok je..aihs..

any 1 have any idea how to upgrade k800 sound so have better bass.. i try the equalizer already but i think the bass still lacking.. and i no the differences between W and K

recently noticed that my MMS have not been sending out, and when I try to update the phone OTA I get the message "Device mgmt. SonyEricsson communication interrupted". Have not been able to get the 3G signal icon either. Internet doesn't work either, am on Maxis.

Is there something wrong with my WAP/3G?

select the right profile for maxis in the phone or get the wap/mms/gprs settings all over again.

There are many problems with this phone:

1. Joystick becomes a hassle after a while. It gets harder to push...maybe it's the dust that gets in the way between the little gaps...but it's a pain.

2. Don't bother with any software updates! They'r pointless and just messes up your phone.

3. i've experienced the "white flash of death" 3 times within 2 months of getting the phone. Had to get it fixed many times overseas which was a hassle

4. i turned the phone off one time and when i turned it back on again, the Sony Ericsson start-up screen just stayed there....wouldn't go to the normal menu screen so i've given up taking it to fix...just gonna get another phone now.

With that said, The phone has superb camera quality. The Video recording is a bit fuzzy but can't complain...I think that's the only good attribute about the phone.

Remember, you better load any photos onto your computer straight away if you don't want to loose any of them when your phone messes up like mine did...i lost some good concert photos...:-(

2. Owh is it? Update of the latest version has a better java engine and sound driver....and performance as well

3. Ur phone really got a lot of problem, mine is working well here without any WSOD

4. Its ur firmware corrupted...


The camera is superb as the compensation is good with wnoderful details in pic, headset sound quality is superb, speaker is crisp and clear but not loud enough....

I wonder cleaning the dust in the joystick will do the trick...

nop, trade with my sister , i took her n73 and she use my k800i haha , my hpm-82 and 2gb gave to her and the n73 i get with 1gb and normal handsfree... but i like the n73 speaker..... dam loud

Guys, i notice there are firmware updates in the topsony site. if i want to change my k800 to the latest firmare, which region file do i have to use, since there are a lot of regions etc. which one should i install? plz. help ?

use headset farfield mod the bass kao kao.... pair with altec lansing sure rocks.... but the speaker itself not loud, cause if driving i use n73 no need on radio... lazy to burn CD....

OMG, first time my K800i got WSOD... It happens right after I took a picture and tried to delete it then suddenly BSOD.. Wonder what's wrong..

WSOD then BSOD? which one...

SE only WSOD.. probably firmware corrupted.....
