SE also said cant repair? means the damage is beyond repair? thats bad.how ur phone dead? sudden death?

Why can't they repair? Where is the fault? It would be hard to repair something without knowing the problem.

Does anyone know how to remedy the common "plugged cable but sometimes not detected" problem?

maybe coz he use modding software... tats y SE dont want repair it n lie to him say " i cant repair ur phone sia" lols... kidding... anyway, my hp still cant on sia... now pc also cant detect my k800i ... sianz... better i go buy new one... tired try to fix it... lols.. if someone in LYN can repair it,plz pm me ur location n price... lols...

yea lol! it was a really cool phone then "cybershot woooo" lol! pretty sturdy till now. a few scratches but in good working condition. no problems with the joystick until recently. But its minor, just a bit slow to respond when i press down

it might capture some dust now due to its age..do some cleaning only

My remedy is try to move the cable up/down when plugged in. Always works. Sloves my charging and transferring files issues.

When half pressed the camera button, it focused to a point, then when i press to snap photo, it will refocus again and take photo which is out of focus, :S

I'm facing the same problem. I'm blaming the button, because taking photos using the joystick works perfectly. Will only go to fix it if I can't take any photo

I did the same but if you notice sometimes it behaves like ($#%(#$! once it says connected then you will see like on off on off
