I also forgotten to update here as well, i've been using K800i Allure Brown for the past 1 year plus. I'm very happy with it & still using it as main phone after purchased K850i.

Download Sony Ericsson Service Update (SEUS) program from SE site and install it.
After that, follow the instruction in the program.

It depends on individual. Some firmware update will solve the previous version firmware bugs but might have new bugs pop out.
I'd say that if the phone is problem free, it isn't a need to update the firmware

I updated mine since I had the first firmware that tends to restart itself. At least it doesn't happen anymore

soo their icons are different.. and they have a theme which they cant delete from the phone

ops.. my fault. should be the handset speaker. Lately the speaker sound quality seem broken when on call

simple. create a .txt file open by browser set it as homepage 

u can also use pic as a homepage..

store ur pic in ur phone memory..let say u name the pic as 'picture A'.

then go to setting>>connectivity>>internet setting>>internet profiles.

choose the profile that u use ie maxis 3g WAP

click more on the profile and go to advance..then change the homepage to

file:///usb/picture/picture A..save it and test the internet button

first thing to make sure is u have ur gprs or 3g setting,then u have already stored the picture in phone memory

I think my k800i's charging port below the phone rosak edi. Coz whenever i wanted to charge the phone, i need to push in the charger really hard then only the phone can detect charging. Makes my hands so painful only.

I know its not the charger's fault, coz when i use it with my w550i, it works perfectly. Just connect it and it charges.

Any idea wat to do? Send in for repairs? Warranty expired already. During the warranty, it was sent in twice for auto shutdown and battery prob. Now, the joystick also giving signs..

Common problem for this phone

I have the same problem too, it happens also when I connect my earphones. The joystick as well, started to behave erratically so I'm going to claim warranty.
