I don't have the occasional restarts but mu camera button isn't functioning well so I use the joystick too. But overall it's still working well, don't think it's dying soon. Mine is 2 years old

got it since it launch in mlysia...all still workin fine for my k800i..onli the battery life span gettin shorter..

I've been using my k800i for two years and no problems with it. Only like sucka said, battery life span getting shorter. Mine is about 1 day

Yeah a great improvement. Costs me about Rm120-140 as I don't remember the exact price.

I got it to replace my aging one, but then I still use the old battery, since a full charge doesn't take long. Will probably start using the new one someday

haha.. seems like every1 here also having problem with the battery...

weird huh, my old w800i is now using by my mom, the battery is still doing fine.
my k800i max 3 days (very seldom on call). if on call, less than 2 days.

Short battery lifespan happens on my sister's W800i as well, but got a new battery replaced so now is working perfectly.

I sent my K800i for repairs, since my warranty expiring soon.

rm120-140 huh.. ....might get a replacement battery den...

i've just flashed my firmware to R8BA024..
and i noticed that the recurrent alarm is not working..
but the normal alarm is working fine..
anyone having the same problem?
anyone have a solution?

hi can anyone help me out??? My midland set K800 was throwing me white screen of death after i switch off the phone today and restart. Been working for 2 years!!

I can't seem to use SEUS anymore, holding 'c' won't work so holding 2+5 will work. Anyways, it'll also disconnect after trying to detect it to update.

So i tried XS++, it just doesn't detect the phone at all. What else can i try?

@ cyew : yeah, it's worth it. K800i is just great, great camera, music, 3g, and all. If you aren't so sure, just buy used one, around rm400.

used 2 years of this phone..no problem at all...
but it went DEAD last night, this happened when i trying to change sim card ...once i press power button the Red LED will blink few times...
and i tried google found out its EROM prob, and trying using WotanClient to fix it..but i not able to fix it.. i think it need to buy credit n login..sigh...
anyone face this problem before and fixed it?
