QUOTE(splee8868 @ Apr 22 2008, 03:58 PM) yup, i own onkyo 875... n my firmware version is the latest one v1.07 & also DSP version also the lastest one...how to check the firmware version? just press & hold " display" button at the avr panel, not the remote then press" power" button, from there u can see the main firmware version, DSP version , hdmi & video version...for model 605,705 ,805 & 905, all can check through this way.. if ur 875 main firmware is below v1.07 & 905 is below v1.08, then u should upgrade the firmware.... n the most important thing, the onkyo just release the DSP firmware upgrade to solve the issue DTS-MA may damage ur speaker, so this new DSP firmware is to solve this issue.. just chk mine..it is only 1.04!..any advise how to upgade?. DIY or request hwee seng to do it for me?Added on April 27, 2008, 10:58 pm QUOTE(Synco @ Apr 17 2008, 02:00 PM) the update is essential if u bitstream DTS-MA but if u never plan to bitstream then no need to update even though mine is only 1.04 but i don`t have problem bitstream DTS-MA even from DTS-MA 7.1 source...This post has been edited by yed: Apr 27 2008, 10:58 PM |

QUOTE(yfyap69 @ May 11 2008, 11:13 PM) I got some problem with my new 606. I couldn't get the S-Video or Composite signal to my Samsung LCD thru HDMI from my 606. I try setting the HDMI to 1080i, 720p or 480/576p, pass thru and auto but all doesn't work. Anyone know how to solve this problem? Also I couldn't get the OSD to dsiplay on my LCD. I already attached the composite cable from the 606 to the LCD as I know the 606 cannot display the OSD thru HDMI. Appreciate any helps. have you set your hdmi monitor out to yes?Added on May 12, 2008, 8:27 am QUOTE(splee8868 @ May 9 2008, 04:44 PM) does it show both main and dsp firmware version together?..coz mine it shows 1.04/alphanumerical characterThis post has been edited by yed: May 12 2008, 08:27 AM |
