maybe this can help -

http://www.theosfiles.com/zzz/receiver_com..._vs_3808CI.html

I think sunauto once said - if you are gonna spend 5 to 6k for a new HD AVR, you should at least get the latest DAC not some outdated ones.

Here is a review of the popular AVR - http://www.avreview.co.uk/news/article/mps/uan/1633

actually i was also in the middle of yammy 3800 and onkyo 875 but after audition the both and read the second review i settled for 875 rclxms.gif

No hard feeling, yed. I agree with him. 875 deserves to be partnered with mid-range spkrs setup. MA Silver series would be good

if you got nice AVR, they will pijak your mid-range speakers
if you got nice high-end speakers, they will pijak your display
if you got nice display, they will pijak that you only watch SD DVD and not their elite Full HD Blu-rays

i like your third line..smile.gif already bought LA40A550..cannot afford blu ray now..minyak sudah mahal...
