So I stay in a condo and since the beginning of the year , there's this new guy that moved in above me and they are so noisy I can hear them everyday . All kinds of noise like furniture dragging , doors opening and closing , door slamming , footsteps noise , even got children screaming.
Have complained to management multiple times but doesn't help, they only give warning . Called guard don't know how many times already . I have talked to them but they are offensive and deny everything.
Any idea how to deal with these people?

Think u not suitable stay condo. Better u buy landed or penthouse or bungalow land by yourself so don't have this issue.
Noise b4 11pm also police cannot do anything. Footstep also u cannot tahan.. Unless u say they stomping everyday.
I think is normal as they got children running around. Shouting and screaming is normal. Children moving the furniture chairs or dragging is wrong?
Unless the child is retard. Or got problem.

Sometimes they dont know until being told its noisy. Dont like some others make noise in community group without actually approaching the person in concern. Try. I do hear their footsteps from morning until night, non stop furniture dragging noise, slamming of doors. I have been calling the guards to check them up, it got better but after a while it comes back. Planning to have a talk with them the next time.

But my case was better, I talked to them nicely and they are willing to slow down the noises. Sometimes this is unavoidable if we stay in condos/apartments, especially when our neighbors are with young kids.

If you are sensitive to noise condo living is not for you. Families with kids will generate noise in daily life; they cannot be expected to close doors slowly and tiptoe just for you. If they go overboard talk to them but complaining to Management can make it worst as they are powerless to do anything except advise. But overall, nothing much you can do except to live with it or move out.

Their noise is the constant repetitive type , like foot stomping every hour, or doors slamming every few hours. Sometimes I can hear them opening and closing their room doors every few mins . These are not actions of normal people , when I spoke to them they are the offensive and didn't even let me try to talked nicely .
I think next time I might just match their noise with my own so they taste their own medicine

And always at a set time? usually at 10am, then 4:50pm and 10:30pm-1am?

(loud music, got people screaming) i just call and they check.

nothing much you can do if they are being resistant to talk further
for door slamming, their upper unit, their next door unit, will hear it footstep noise, your unit and your lower unit will hear it
you can try to ask your lower unit whether they hear much of footstep noise or their upper unit whether they hear much of door slamming noise

Adults in the home should do something to reduce noises especially matter like door slamming and chair dragging, these two can be solved. That's.

My experience here. Just moved in to a new condo which is not really cheap. Upstairs neighbour also very noisy from 10am till 2am everyday. Furniture dragging, door slamming, stomping, things constantly dropped on the floor. Since moving in, I got insomnia everyday. Talked to them politely and for few days the situation got better like 10%, then it started again. I got no choice but to report to management, then guess what? They got offended and make it their responsibility to make my life a living hell. Even more noisy than before. I’m now staying with my brother in his house, meanwhile looking out for landed house which can give me a good night’s sleep. Will forfeit all my security deposit which is around 4.5k. Trust me it’s really frustrating and you feel really helpless.
