Hopefully at least one of those 150s comes equipped with ABS. It's a very important feature.

I'm still sad that Kawasaki Malaysia didn't bring in the 250 Versys with ABS equipped...it would have been a near perfect bike. Can hope that the V-Strom 250 is coming too.

At least have ABS as an option.
But, I prefer without. Then again, it hampers the resale value. Can get 1 first, bypass it, then fix back when selling.

Is suzuki motorcycle spare parts more expensive compared to other manufacturer?

The last time I owned a GSXR, I used to ride all the way down to that Suzuki parts dealership in front of Simlim Tower for parts. Stuff was relatively cheap... heck I bought everything from that area incl tyres, esp from Ahboy's.

But then that was waaaay before Ringgit made like Duit Daun Pisang and went down the Malaysia Boleh forex shithole.


Nowadays, I dunno about Suzuki parts supply in Msia but since there's better economy of scale now for big bike parts I wouldn't be too worried.

Yeah Lim Ah Boy/Regina is pretty much no brainer hands down cheapest until past 2-3 years where our RM continues its nosediving

I source almost all parts either from Glenmarie (when I was staying in Shah Alam) or Penang's Suzuki Prai production plant (when balik kampung...now kilang tutup already).
Price probably standard if compared with Yamaha or Honda...at least for normal wear and tear parts.
It was the dealer/workshop that jack up the price.
Back then Suzuki kapchai oil filter cost about 6 ringgit or something at Glenmarie/Penang but when u buy from outside workshop, price become double.

Now I buy parts mostly from ebay for my K9... and some from Glenmarie. You can whatsapp them. Give part number and they'll return with quotation. Fast, transparent and easy.
