Guys, I plan to change a new phone soon and decided to buy a DiGi prepaid to use it on my current phone to keep in touch with my ex-Research Officer, since she is using DiGi, I think it is better for me to get a DiGi number, good for both of us. biggrin.gif

Alright to keep this short, both of us will keep in touch via SMS most of the time, so FnF is the best plan right? smile.gif What about Fuyoh plan? It looks like the same as FnF but why does DiGi have two different plans that look about the same? rclxub.gif Can someone explain to me the differences of these two plans? Pardon my ignorance as this is going to be the first time for me using DiGi. notworthy.gif

For long-winded calls, I will most probably stick to my happy SIM card but now I just need cheap SMS rate. smile.gif She told me her boyfriend gets her a supplementary line and she has to pay at least RM 30 every month, may I know how much is her each SMS to DiGi and Maxis? Does she have FnF as well? Or that only applies to prepaid users? I feel bad for making her to reply to every of my SMS-es from my Maxis line. sad.gif

Thanks in advance and sorry for the endless questions. notworthy.gif My apology if these questions are being repeated here for N times. notworthy.gif

Officially a DiGi user. biggrin.gif Well, it is still my secondary line, nice no. 016-AABBBCB biggrin.gif

I already sent 2 SMS-es to a DiGi no., 1 SMS to happy no. and 1 SMS to Maxis no. but my credits are not yet deducted. Normal? unsure.gif
Sorry this is my first time using DiGi and just added one DiGi no. to FnF, I wanna confirm if the no. is already in my FnF and really 1 cent/SMS will be deducted but so far nothing is deducted yet. sweat.gif

Care to enlighten me? notworthy.gif Thank you very much! biggrin.gif

Thanks for the info, somehow the credit got deducted after a while. Tried sending two SMS-es to my own Maxis no. and they didn't get through until now but tried again twice on sister's Maxis, they went through. Don't know is whose problem now. sweat.gif

D' Campus roadshow is in MMU Malacca. Tempted to convert my current prepaid plan to it, is it worth for the change? unsure.gif

What are the normal charges if I'm not in my campus ground? I didn't see it on DiGi's website.
If it is not worth then I shall just stick with my current plan, after all I'm only using it to call my only one friend from FnF. laugh.gif

Rushed to convert my DiGi Prepaid to D' Campus package as today was the last day in MMU Melaka. Quite convinced with the promotion. wink.gif But gotta wait for 2 weeks to get it activated. sad.gif

Although I'll complete my course next year's June and then heading for Industrial Training until October and my convocation is in August 2010, so I put my graduating year as 2010. biggrin.gif

Very cheap, though FnF is forfeited but I can SMS to all DiGi no. with only 1 cent regardless within or off the 5km campus radius. smile.gif The only drawback is when it is in not campus zone, to call other all networks is RM 0.36/minute but still remains RM 0.15/minute to DiGi network!

edited: Called DiGi Careline and confirmed to all networks are RM 0.36/minute if usage above RM 30 per month! I already asked the promoters about this but they confirmed it still remains RM 0.15 cents though off campus. One of the promoters is my friend, I'm going to ask her tomorrow, if she confirms like what I was told, I'll lodge a complaint to DiGi for misleading its customers. Luckily, my line will be activated in 2 weeks time, so now I'm still safe. Once it is activated, I'll quickly call and change the plan or should I use it first until I go back to my hometown only change it? laugh.gif

DiGi D' Campus subscribers can opt to switch into any DiGi Prepaid rider plan (such as DiGi Prepaid Fu-Yoh!, Friends and Family Plus and Chat Plus) at any point in time, but they will not be able to switch back into DiGi D' Campus.

If I subscribe to DG 50, thinking of converting my current prepaid to postpaid, will I still eligible for FnF? I thought I saw it on DiGi's site last month but I don't think I can see it from there now. sweat.gif

It is because to SMS DiGi users is RM 0.10, more expensive than my current prepaid. I SMS quite a lot to my FnF list and only costs RM 0.01. thumbup.gif

The call rate attracts me, instead of paying RM 0.15 to FnF or RM 0.36 to other DiGi users, I'm paying RM 0.13 flat call rate to all regardless any network. hmm.gif

I really want to abandon my current Hotlink, so expensive and tired of seeing my phone out of credit. tongue.gif

I heard D'Campus is within 5km of the campus radius. hmm.gif
Anyway, canceled my D'Campus and using the normal Beyond Prepaid. wink.gif
In the midst of changing my current DiGi prepaid to DG50. biggrin.gif

Yea, finally found that link. Thanks a lot! notworthy.gif
But, it says applied to postpaid packages, that means DG50 is included right? biggrin.gif
I'll change it after this Tuesday, the day of my FYP submission. biggrin.gif

Do I really need to go to DiGi service centre to convert my prepaid to postpaid? unsure.gif
Or any specialised store can do it? The centre is so far and it is the only one in Malacca. sweat.gif

where can i change my digi prepaid plan to dcampus plan??
in um cannot change wor....
*
Well, they did provide service to do conversion in MMU during its first roadshow. After that, they were only selling new D' Campus prepaid no. wink.gif
I bought a new nice number SIM pack from them, RM 10 with RM 10 reload+free gift+extra free gift (Because I was a D' Campus promoter for them two weeks back tongue.gif). biggrin.gif
D' Campus does help a lot in my daily DiGi calls, but once I am out from campus zone I'll be using my current DiGi no. smile.gif My D' Campus is only used to call DiGi no., other than that DG 50 will do the job. laugh.gif biggrin.gif
Been using D' Campus since Tuesday's night, did some rough calculation, I saved more than RM 20 on my calls because I talked more than 65 times to the same DiGi no. sweat.gif

*
You can't change on your own, that means by calling the DiGi Helpline and follow the steps. You need them to go to your university and during the roadshow only they can help you to do the conversion.

Did mine on Friday. They told me three business days, so I didn't bring the new SIM card with me on Friday night. Sure enough, as soon as I was at a restaurant trying to connect with my friends, "SIM Registration Failed" - it had only been about 2 hours since I was at the Digi store. Had to go back home and get the new card. But now it's working well.
*
Yes, I did mine on Friday's night. Around 9.00 p.m., and I just stayed across the street. Reached my apartment, I was just about to contact my friends... Suddenly my SIM card showed "SIM is Inactive". Plugged in the new SIM card and straight can use. Talking about efficiency. sweat.gif
