what is the spoiled? the motor? but without motor still can use the hand right? Maybe I should play with the mirror folding less....
*
motor spoiled... especially when the mirror in closed position, when you wanna unlock car, the motor rosak wouldn't extend the side mirror you either need to drive to the nearest SC to get it fixed, or when it spoils night time when you need to drive but no SC open to help you fix on the spot, then you have to manually force it out thereby breaking something inside and voiding warranty at the same time...

nowadays I only fold mirrors when in public parking with cars and hoomans all around... at home i lazy to fold mirror also... less wear and tear...

Anyone here installed RFID tags on their City yet...? Where do you guys stick your tags...? Windscreen or headlamp...?

I find that the City headlamps a bit too upright for the tag to be read by the toll reader mounted high overhead on the booth - worried once installed on the headlamp the reader might not pick it up...

recommended to stick on windscreen . u might need to wax ur headlamp from time to time ( i.e every month) to keep the clearcoat in tact ...unless u dont mind ur headlamp bcome yellowish , then u can go ahead
*
Lolx... I think I cracked windscreens more often than I see my headlamps turn yellow on my history of car ownership. In fact I don’t recall any of my old cars ever had yellowish headlamps. Wax headlamps...? I’m so sakai...! laugh.gif

Hi all new City owner here. Just get my car last week. With this one week drive I seen my FC avg 11.8 for City drive. Is that normal?
*
For a start... I saw the same 11.8 on the very first day. Over time it will increase. I’m now at 13.8...

QUOTE(4EveRLonE @ Dec 10 2020, 11:10 AM)
Cause I noticed it jerks more often compare to my previous gm6 which makes me wondering, but I'll drive more often and see how it goes

There are some other owners reporting the jerk gone after clocked some mileage on the car, so it might be the case
*
Test drove Honda dealer unit also jerks, but then again mileage only less than 300km... sweat.gif

On another note, the “diesel clatter” noise is not as pronounced as mine. I wonder if something is wrong with my engine or gearbox...

never like vios design. its simply ugly .lol.
*
Different ppl different priorities... Some ppl dun care about design and go all in with safety and features...

To me Vios seems underpowered, but I have to admit it's much more feature-loaded than City...

I'd wish the City has BSM and RCTA... the rest of Honda Sensing and Toyota Safety Sense is useless to my driving style though... sweat.gif

But to me City definitely wins on interior...

Depends what is your budget. And what type of road conditon.

If for me, pick up truck is the best for both city and rural area road condition.

But no Honda pickup sold in this country... sweat.gif

Anyone using CarPlay having problem with loud ringtones on incoming calls...? Nearly blew out my speakers today.

Tried adjusting volume but every time new calls come in, the volume reset itself painfully loud.

Also having problems with Waze volume resetting itself after setting to appropriate level. Sometimes loud sometimes almost inaudible...

So what happen if your phone rings normally. Can hear? Since you reduced the volume.
*
I have to bring the phone volume higher... one minor problem is my notification sounds will be a tad louder, but that's not a problem since I'm always on silent mode... sweat.gif

I've noticed this issue seems to stem from both Honda and Apple. Honda being the HU having a bug of resetting volume level, while Apple being having loud Carplay incoming call ringtones for years. Google the latter problem and you'll see complaints everywhere on all car makes.

You don't understand.
Cable only connect with app.
Call connect via Bluetooth. For a Bluetooth device, there should be 2 volume control. On the device and on the phone. And since we cannot find the control volume in the device, then you can control through phone
*
I don't see the point of connecting via bluetooth when I can get everything via the cable... except for straining my battery...
