but i personally think gov will give incentive gaogao to hybrid ckd in malaysia so Rs price might be around 95k with SST

but E 4 airbags only
and no leather on steering
u can go try the V steering first, its a smooth leather type like on the civic

at these circular place

however dont put much high hope on these speaker , treble still okay okay but
its no longer the day where car original speaker produce punchy bass

you mean the normal petrol city ?
if thats so this is my list of advantage and disadvantage

ADVANTAGE TOWARD CITY

1) Higher power across the band , 121ps 145nm paired with a more rev happy cvt
in real world, vios need to press harder to kept up with city and run out of power sooner than city , the HP is even lesser

2) Space
honda city space is unbeatable by vios , even larger than the new almera,

3) More logical design
in 2020 , vios meter still reflect sunlight while u were driving... this is a big NO NO
both car come with keyless entry but city have both Driver and Front passenger key detection, you would appreciate the convenience if you have other car with 1 side keyless
honda city still come with beeping , yes the beep when u lock n unlock your car, vios only do light show
LED headlight on City vs the traditional halogen headdlight
center arm rest that driver could use , vios one is unusable
city come with 1 touch triple signal, Vios X de ... even a 24k axia have but not this vios

4) Lower fuel consumption
is not that vios cant be fuel efficient but in city you can have fuel efficient and power at the same time, vios on the other hand , choose 1 only, U drive a little aggressive and will get Fc is down to the drain

5) SAFETY
WHile vios have additional knee airbags, BSM and RCTA , City have a tougher body
Asean Ncap video say it all, Both 5 star but seeing how the A pillar of Vios bend....
even the Perodua famous Milo Tin myvi is performing better than vios in this regard ....

ADVANTAGE TOWARD VIOS

1) The better reputation one
Generally less complain, better ckd car in malaysia

2) NVH is better
Vios is holding the best NVH among Japanese brand B segment sedan , i dont think new city can fight this
tyre noise is well suppress in Vios , this new gen city i sit on the rear for 1km ride, doesn't impress me for NVH

3) Newest Safety Assist
BSM and RCTA , I'M unsure if you try this two before but let me tell you , BSM in vios doenst reach as fast , having delay here n there
sometime the car pass already the light still there.... if you turn your signal while sensor picking up something on that corner , it would beep at you non stop and no OFF button for this

4) Better speaker
Vios Speaker produce much more bass than city, couple with better NVH , its a more relaxing car to travel on long distance i suppose

5) better bump absorbsion
Vios suspension just soak up alot of imperfection on the road. If you live in a area where broken pavement is common, vios can literally iron out most of the road imperfection


IF after reading all this you still want to get a vios kan , please hold your horse , A newly updated version with LED headlight is coming soon, like in 2 month Soon

Almera hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Advantage to City

1) POWER
while almera have more torque on the wider rpm band, but it run out of power as soon as u hit 80km/h
if you mostly travel in town with speed not more than 70km/h then almera is good enough

2) Price
City top out at 86k , Almera high spec is 9xk

3) Space
Almera manage to let people thinks its big but not this time around
almera only measure 1380mm shoulder room on rear seat, mind you a new myvi measure 1450mm
boot space is smaller on almera too

4) Realibilty
Nissan have a terrible CVT reliability issue , you can join any xtrail or serena club , often you could see people claiming warranty for cvt

5) Better seat
While Nissan claim 0 gravity seat for almera, but it doesn't feel good when you actually sit on it ,its on the smaller side

6) less maintenance in long run
3 cyclinder car tend to be more shaky ma, so a good engine mounting is needed, thus when it spoiled the price could be hefty

7) better infotainment system
almera one lag here n there , obvious sia


Advantage to Almera
1) Torque
Almera will let you feel a gently push with most torque release on low rpm, city loose out abit on this

2) Advanced Safety
radar AEB is present on Almera which honda city V , E , S doesn't have . but it do come with slight problem as its Radar based, it only detect car not bike no pedestrian

3) big LCD meter
this meter really smashed honda gao gao, its clear its bright , with tons of information , city one analog design like shit

4) look better
I actually think almera look a tad prettier than city

5) FREE 5 YEAR SERVICE
this could easily save 5k or more


Nissan is build by TanChong , and their reputation is down to drain one So if you ask me i wont purchase almera even its cheaper than city

thats why on the first day already go molest the car

design issue kut, most new car rear board dont have anthing on it

worst than gm6 honda city
but better than almera,
Im 180cm tall and my hair is brushing the headliner for almera

headroom definitely smaller than old GM6 city
thigh support is not so good for my height

Sadly i didnt have the chance to touch x50 yet

but here what i would rated x50 vs city

Looks - x50
interior perceived quality - x50
Feature - x50
Power - x50
Aftersales service - city
Space - city
Ease of access - city
Speed of repair - city

if you want power, X50 memang the best but bear in mind that x50 flagship will not come cheap , expected to be 110k ish +-
Design wise its definitely a looker, interior also look upmarket

The only thing to worry is the reliability of the car, Enter Chinese X70 group and you will be amazed by the all sort of issue face by the owner
but dont enter english or malay group one, the hardcore fans there will kick you out for posting issue with car

And if you bad luck encounter accident, parts availability is a hot issue with these Geely based Proton


For me X50 is for those who are willing to accept challenge
city is for average folks that wanna play safe

it does come with multiangle view but not sure about dynamic parking guide
one thing to note, this resolution of this camera is so low that i think a myvi reverse cam is better than this

E n S get uc6 but high spec get toyo customize tyre , not sure the performance at all
the thread seem to be economy tyre

i wonder can we put a real spare tyre inside this city or not
space saver tyre is close to useless one


after searching honda india
their city do come with full size spare tire with alloy rim somemore
