For me, when i bring along my laptop, it sticks with me, and i never use the original laptop bag instead, i bought another backpack that doesnt looks like laptop bag for it.i know some might says some thief might still can spots the laptop, but at least the chance is lower down.
p/s:No matter it's a myth or fact, it's not a good practise to leave ur laptop in the trunk, heat is not good for laptop especially the LCD screen.

shessh.. totally a myth. just use common sense, dun park ur car and then put sumthing (example ur laptop) in ur car boot. put it early b4 u reach ur destination. usually, these thief wil watch u from afar. A friend of mine told me that in some places, the guards will inform their 'fren' whenever they saw a victim putting bags in their car boots via the CCTV at the parking lots.

Anyways to bypass this kinda stuffs from scanning our laptop? Any blocking devices use?

battery  the device scan a electronic heat that powered by battery,remove ur laptop battery and u safe(from the device screening)
