They do use the internet. I don't need a landline even though I have one from Unifi. They already have mobile phones with prepaid SIMs, only RM28/month.

copper replacement to unifi air not sure but my office previously using copper with DDI (multiple phone number) package.

we want to downgrade but tm force us to pull a fibre cable because they 'dont have' copper package anymore. costs us around 3k from ground riser to 2nd floor.

No change to charges. No additional deposit. Keep same number. But this was 5-6 yrs ago.

Anyone can help confirm, if the installation just provide the modem only or modem + cordless phone? Installer just give modem and connect to ancient fixed line phone............

I think it is better they just migrate all to fibre, even those without internet subscription, can just have the BTU and phone line without internet.

Idk about you, but the ancient fix line phone is more reliable. The cheap cordless phone after a while kaput already. If you want cordless better invest in a good one, just buy and plug in.

too many thieves nowadays. copper phone line got stolen.

one month still havent settled, TM doesnt seem to be interested to fix it.

they recommend to change to wireless to clean up this mess.

if we are forced to change due to depreciated technology, i can still understand. but to be forced to change due to too many thieves is real sad case.

The prob with their wireless phone is they can get faulty easily, or battery cannot charge after sometime usage.

This is true. My house already use this wireless. Always got problem with the line. Everytime complain they come then got charges. Same problem.
