CC6's only good points are low noise & low wear. Poor performance in dry & wet grip & handling.

Better go with Goodyear Assurance Triplemax 2 for the same budget of CC6. It performs much better than CC6 in all criterias except for the noise, where it is CC6 strong point.

Michelin PS3, Toyo Proxes TR1 & Yokohama Advan Fleva V701 are UHP tyres which cost higher as well. However their grip & handling is much better. Only the noise are higher & high rate of wear.

The CC6 once near the wear bar has greatly reduced grip on my car last time. Changed all four tyres to XM2+ currently and they perform better all round in terms of dry grip, wet grip, noise.

Price wise both are the same? Or xm2+ more expensive? Which eco tyre affordable enough compared with cc6/triplemax?

XM2+ is not worth it coz the price difference to PS3 is minimal yet the grip performance is a lot less! CC6 is horrendous grip, only good for longevity and silent. PS3 is really the best by far in this 15' size. Back then used to have Hankook V12E2 which is cheap but yet almost as good as PS3 but now seems no more available unfortunately. You may consider the new Bridgestone RE004, otherwise try find for the Goodyear F1D5 or Assurance Triplemax 2.

CC6 will win in terms of comfort and low noise but handling could be the worst among all the budget tyres. If you don't speed and usually drives like an uncle, this tyre is a great choice.

Maybe you can try Continental UltraContact 6 (UC6). It is 1 level above CC6 while giving adequate comfort level.

If stock size is 185/55/15, you can go with 195/50/15.

Slightly smaller diameter. Negligible.

Vote goes to PS3. Very linear response up to the handling limit. Smooth and forgiving breakaway characteristics.

If you know what the above means, then the other options won't suit you. If you don't, then any other tyre will do just fine.

Best all round daily use UHP tyre. Except for the price.

XM2+ is more expensive at rm200+ per piece.

Triplemax 2 is about rm150 per piece.

Stay in puchong. For budget, if got bank panel easy payment can go for ps3 lor, but price must be logic la. If no easy payment, then just take 200 below
