QUOTE(datolee32 @ Oct 30 2021, 10:43 AM) 4% pa as indicated in the announcement poster? Please don't make us disappointed it says bonus return, so it should be on top of existing 1.4-1.5%, that will be 5.5%. If so, I will max out my GO+ account. Impossible to find 5.5% return with instant liquidity anywhere now. We will see in a few days.. finger crossed

I already max out my GO+ to 9500 to enjoy the full benefit

QUOTE(victorian @ Nov 1 2021, 10:11 AM) So technically u will get 9,500 X 0.04 /4 = RM95 in 3 months. Not bad Better than that. 9500 x 5.5%/4 = 131 RM!

QUOTE(WaCKy-Angel @ Dec 24 2021, 11:25 PM) Errr no connection cant make payment lor If you scan QR, then internet connection is required. But if merchants scan you, then even without internet connection, transaction can still go through smoothly. Next time, put your phone on "flight mode" and try to use it at 7/11 and see, it works!!

At least TNG is the ONLY one provide "money back guarantee" and 1RM "walletsafe insurance". is it? QUOTE(lowkelvin @ Feb 14 2022, 11:22 AM) First You should compare TNG eWallet with other eWallet or Bank For Grab, everytime you login will required verified by TAC For Boost, you will be required to enter login password (password is different with payment PIN For Boost & ShopeePay, you can use fingerprint and TouchID for payment to avoid PIN leaked For bank app, you will be notified by sms when new device logon your app TNG didn't implemented all these mentioned security method

Don't see more news in recent days, seems both the scam loophole and also user compensation part being addressed. Otherwise, it won't quite down so quickly. Probably in the end, Money Back Guarantee and Walletsafe did come in and helped these users. Besides, Money back guarantee is free and Walletsafe is only 1RM, nothing to complain about that. Not to mention, TNG is the only wallet dares to provide such protection. QUOTE(cybpsych @ Feb 15 2022, 09:34 AM) IMO, dont put so much hope for MBG as a blanket converage. i suspect MBG will still subject to investigation by TNGD, especially if you have taken necessary steps to secure your wallet. eg if you use 123456 or DOB as your pin, likelihood TNGD may not honor MBG.

TNGD employees not supposed to know, but their system do know, right? Otherwise, how can their system tell whether you are entering wrong or correct PIN? QUOTE(ziling60 @ Feb 15 2022, 10:28 PM) Why should TnG know what pin number did we use or if our pin number is as simple as 12345? If they are able to find out our pin number, then something is vry very wrong with their security.

I am not a tech guy, but I believe the general market practice is that system do save your passcode so that they can compare when you enter your passcode, if they match, then they allow you to proceed. But no employees, including IT personnel should know users' PIN code. From the news, I don't see anywhere it mentions TNG knows users' passcode, it just says "correct PIN was entered so that these transactions went through". QUOTE(ziling60 @ Feb 15 2022, 11:44 PM) Yes, but for security purpose, no one should have access to the pin number, not even the IT personnel. They should secure it in a way that in case it was forgotten, reset is the only way to go. So if you're telling me TNG knows your pin number while investigating your money loss and claims that you're not entitled to money back claim bcz you have some simple/easily identified pin, that's outrageous as we should then challenge their security as to how would they know

GO+ requires your name in Touch and GO ewallet and your bank matches exactly. otherwise, it will fail. You might want to check whether names at both sides are exact match. if all fails, just reload money to ewallet via debit card/credit card, then transfer to GO+ QUOTE(shawnme @ Feb 18 2022, 04:46 PM) First time using FPX, while all previous reloads are through credit cards in small amounts for usage only, and never cashed out ever. So I tried Cash In to Go+ via FPX today. It never redirects me to login, which ends up failing the transaction. Tried with both banks that I have, All under my name, and both comes to the same problem. Has anyone encounter this issue? What could be the cause? Edit : I just recalled that I had this same issue last year, and I've made complaints. The final reply was "escalated to relevant department for further checking". I lost track of it, and looks like the issue persisted even after almost a year.

The key is convenience. Insurance website process is a bit complicated and requries more info input. And most importantly, you can buy roadtax together with TNGD. while for insurance website, you have to purchase that separately, which I found a major hassle. QUOTE(lowyat101 @ Feb 20 2022, 04:50 PM) Actually nowadays the premium is different for the same sum insured from different insurance providers. I have checked from most of the online insurance providers before coming to the TnG CarInsure. From CarInsure, you can see the premium from the 3 insuerers, and MSIG seems to be the cheapest for me, and it's the same as buying direct from MSIG website with 10% rebate. The extra benefit from CarInsure is the extra RM40 cashback, as per the link shared few pages back. Just for the info of the members here, I have proceed with MSIG and from the policy, there's no excess imposed, except for the compulsory excess.

GO+ can support both Paydirect and RFID. Just put money there to earn interest and also never need to worry about insufficient balance to pay toll QUOTE(Davidtcf @ Feb 23 2022, 11:36 AM) I prefer paydirect nowadays.. coz you can dump all the money into Go+ to earn interest.. Go+ balance can be use to pay tolls or any transactions. You no longer need to have a balance in TNG wallet.

TNG and PLUS are two different companies. PLUS is toll operating company while TNG is their vendor to manage their payment system. Just like you make a payment to merchant with Visa card, the payment goes to merchant, Visa is just facilitating that payment (with certain fee of course). PLUS is like Merchant in this case, TNG is like Visa. Hope it clarifies. QUOTE(adam_lew85 @ Feb 26 2022, 08:37 AM) Hi guys, just wondering what is the difference between TNG and TNG PLUS? Both of them oso can topup with credit card and withdraw money to bank account?

Seems you are referring to TNG GO+, not PLUS (which is a toll company). If you want to transfer money to your bank account, yes, you have to upgrade to TNG GO+. Actuallly, most of us put our money in GO+ instead of wallet, as it gives you interest return (currently 1.5%+2%). In terms of usage, you won't feel any difference at all, all payments can be supported instantly. QUOTE(adam_lew85 @ Feb 26 2022, 09:51 AM) currently i have tng app installed on my phone, but not yet upgrade to tng plus lets say now i wan to topup tng with my credit card, then transfer the money inside tng into my bank account. For this case, do i need to upgrade to tng plus?

easiest way just to put all balance in GO+ QUOTE(tan_aniki @ Feb 26 2022, 09:09 PM) basically it will auto transfer back to ew and deduct from ew, it's called quick reload payment it only works when u got the full available amount to be paid let's say u only got RM10 inside Go+ and RM5 inside ew and Plus highway charge RM11, you will get stuck you need to manually transfer the RM10 into ew then only can deduct

This is meant for short term borrowing, like <3 months. If you want to big amount and 12 months, why not go to bank? 21%/12=1.75%, which means if you borrow 5K for 2months, the total interest you pay is 175RM. Bank loan starts from 6 months, the total interest$ will be much higher even interrest% is lower. Seems to me it suits different needs... QUOTE(Hoshiyuu @ Apr 5 2022, 11:47 AM) The rates principal is offering is damn crazy. I randomly tried to apply for 5k, 12 month, the quoted interest rate is well over 21% lol, damn trap.

You probably have already linked this card to your wallet during that reload process. Typically, you have to link your card first before you can reload it. Check "TNG card", you should be able to see your card already there QUOTE(mun88 @ Apr 28 2022, 05:15 PM) Yerterday i buy new NFC touchngo card at shell station and reload RM20, my smart tag can check RM20 is inside the card. when i want to add in touchngo ewallet is come out message "your card is linked to another account" ?! how come llike this ? is new card! how to do ?
