Easier for them to ban u especially if u topup using cc and tng reload
*
I don't think TNG would ban over cc reloads that are still under transferrable balance. Plus cc reloads that are above their limit will be locked as non transferrable.

Hello guys, is there anywhere to find the adoption rate of E-Wallet in Malaysia?
*
Wrong thread to ask. But you could extrapolate from online sources like https://www.thestar.com.my/metro/metro-news...ent-study-finds

Honestly, not just TnG

ShopeePay, foodpanda, Pgeon dan lain-lain also the same

I find the CS job is damn easy, just take your complain, and 'escalate'

When ask for more info, 'We can only escalate' or 'We already inform the next level'

And the next level took forever to respond and you have no way to reach the 'next level'

I believe most of these 1st level CS are mostly outsourced and all their replies are jsut scripted
*
Grab support not great. Foodpanda support usually ends up with a voucher or refund.

Amount loaded into TNG exceeding the transferrable limit , will not become transferrable the following month.

Seems like a change?

I loaded some money into TNG thinking I can withdrawal it when it's a new month, but looks like I have to spend it all ...

Mine active. Insured against fraud or theft of my eWallet If you keep rm2500 balance on average then you get rm25,000 payout if you die as well. Make sure your beneficiary is aware.

im at the tng ewallet office...

i asked thm about this...

thy said is technical issue and u can ignore the email..
*
It may scare normal users who worry their money might get frozen or locked ... and cause massive funds being withdrawn from TNG.

TNG better issue an official statement and apology to manage the damage.

ahh i see..

ur mentioned of debit card behaviour is a very good example.. it wouldn't be call a debit card if it can be use without sufficient balance right? tongue.gif

if tng 'quick payment' function can be apply to their soon-to-be-launch visa prepaid card, then that'll be quite impressive imo..

as impressive as ur explanation of the payment/network flow  thumbup.gif  rclxms.gif
*
It gets even more complicated with debit cards that come with overdraft facilities (which isn't advisable to use since you get hit with high finance charges immediately) 😃

Quick payment is similar to Lazada Wallet or FavePay that allows a bit of double dipping by making a payment transaction go through two payment processes. I like it.

no direct way

tng ewallet > tng card, possible through tng card reload kiosk, pay using tng ewallet.
*
With NFC card no need kiosk.. just reload from phone to card.

What if amount inside my nfc card transfer to ewallet, possible?
*
No. The TNG card is for spending at carparks and tolls mostly, and not meant to be cashed out since it is not an eWallet. You can cash out to your bank account if you terminate the card...

agreed

but has dependency to NFC capability (hardware limitation)

1) not all phones has NFC
2) not everyone has NFC phones
*
Generally those without NFC capability on their phones would not go out of their way to buy a NFC TNG card... I hope... 😅

Sorry was distracted. Which toll were you at? How much balance did your eWallet have? Did you switch it off and on again... as TNG advises to wait 15 minutes before trying again.
