I was referencing eateries from the 80s and 90s. Out of the oldfags I asked, only 1 remebered eating a variant of nasi goreng USA sometime in the 70s. It also had that Western theme. Probably back then everything Western orignated from USA.

I think the whole udang, sotong and ayam definition of the acronym came in the 2000s, and people started matching to it.

Don’t despair. Even stall/restaurant operator also don’t know what is nasi goreng USA. So they just assume org amareka eat fried rice with sosej and sunnyside up egg laugh.gif

Biasanya ayam atau daging masak merah dengan telur.

yeah. most of the time home cook.. even if go eat out, usually tapau/delivery, kfc, nandos kenny rogers etc.

The one I ordered before no sotong. The shop owner asked if it's ok to replace with beef and I said ok2 can.
