Modded QDLink apk file, should allow you to run Android Auto I think, but wired(?)
I don't really see a guide from anyone here, once I get my FS I'll see if I can put together a guide, Android Auto is a big "Plus" for me if I can get it to work somehow

Yup, he had contributed quite a lot to Proton X50 tech related stuff, but I just dislike his way of doing business too. The way he promote his business annoys me as well. Kept on saying he bought the service, promoting owner is good, and not admitting he is the owner pulak. Just my personal feelings yeah guys

Power via the 12V socket, and to listen to music, it uses the FM transmitter (in video set to 87.5Mhz). Anyone have experience with this and can maybe share how the sound quality is like using the FM Transmitter. Tq

RM350 for what seems like a “hack” that allows the unit to install Google Play Store sounds like a total scam to me. In their FB, they even stated that they got the “hack” from the Phillipines Geely Coolray community. I may sound like a hater idk.

Ps: the “hack” mentioned above is just a serial code enabling developer options in the X50 unit, thus allowing us to install third party app via APK sideloading. It’s been discussed in reddit countless time. We get the serial code, we get Android Auto (the seller 100% uses Headunit Reloaded to run Android Auto and AutoKit app to run Apple CarPlay (Carlinkit Dongle needed). Mind you, Headunit Reloaded is a paid app so this seller might get into trouble if caught.

Just followed the instructions given.
Copy everything needed in the usb drive that prepared and plug into X50 USB port.

A screen will popup asking if the USB is music or video media, just be patience there and wait for it to reboot.

Took around 15mins to install my apks showing in the pictures before it start to reboot.
Best is that you opening the app manager (the left icon next proton icon at the bottom centre of the screen) to observe the installation progress.

To install in batch, what I did is copy all the apk files into data folder that created and do the necessary permissions.

Then use "pm install -rtdg --user 0 (replaced with your folder location)/Netflix.apk".

ES and musicolet i downoad from pureapk drop into virustotal is 0/60+ ...i think it is fine?

maybe musicolet too new using some new API that doesnt work on android 5.1.
