For your proton iriz, the thermostat and radiator is indeed not part of the engine. Thats akin to saying pc mouse and keyboard is part of the pc. Engine is just the engine block, which of course included everything inside like head gasket leak, rod knock issues, low compression and losing power etc. Proton just stand by their policy, you argue also useless because you are wrong in this case. So you shouldnt distrust proton but try to understand the situation better.

The only thing is proton no courtesy car when their cars do breakdown. While bmw have courtesy car and mostly available since their sales volume is low compared to proton.
*

That is fair, but when I was buying the Proton, the salesman said this to me:"5 years warrrrranty!!!"

Of course, being a car noob that I am, I didn't clarify if different parts had different warranty length and stipulations. Turns out the other parts of the car only had 3 year warranty, including the power window which I had to claim once, and the bloody-shat SC tried to argue with me against claiming the warranty at his shop - probably malas to do paperwork and Proton HQ will only reimburse them months later vs my paying ~RM200 for the work there and then

When I was in the process of buying my Bimmer, I actually asked the sales person "Is it full warranty or got different warranties for different parts". Now even rattling sounds also I can claim laugh.gif Got X3 somemore hahahahahahahhahaha

With proton, the service center lost my booklet, and then other service centers didnt update my maintenance with them, so now I kinda lost my "warranty" as Proton call center said that I missed two services - which I did, but not recorded into their system by the 3rd party Proton-service franchise owner

So I am just sharing my experience lah. BMW has been kind to me... I love the car, I love the service. But ok, once it is out of warranty I will either dispose of the car or let others use my car; I am priming myself for an upgrade laugh.gif

Hi , can I get the invoice numbers then we can identify, solve it and improve it.
We don’t mind to go your house to do that.
Sorry for the bad experience, I believed during that time the staffs hands are never stop from their work. They not even use the handphone during working hours. We never look down on customers, we even selling package pc as low as RM1299 or RM1199.

However this is not the first time we get this feedback. Our current premises more on production and packing. We had try to improve to solve this issue by open more branch with better environment to have face to face entertain the walk in customers.

just sharing my experience as an end-user. Not everyone is price-sensitive. I have ascended from being price-sensitive to service-sensitive

The problem is Ideal after sales service is not on par too vs 5 years ago.
Now many companies can give very low prices but also very good service.
So the Elite member was right to say Ideal is retarded.

I do recommend friends go to idealtech when they have money but no time to learn and would rather pay for the convenience. Now where do I send them, dotatech/etech/viewnet/jayacom/thundermatch? Maybe czone since they have 3 branches covering PJ, kl and Putrajaya

C-Zone ok wat, but the environment quite busy and hectic la. Dotatech can be abit lansi sometimes, but they also quite busy. Etech ok la, but far for PJ kaki, the rest all like C-Zone, Jayacom damn anti debit card to all hell.
