Is the pin shock dependable or frame?

What is it by the way?
*
its the pin that i need to selit into the shocks bushing, in order for me to lock the shocks onto the frame.

M8 x 25mm <-- if this means anything to you, thats the pin/bush i need.

my current one, owner did some random mods, the pin is smaller (in diameter) and it wont fit my rockshox as there is free play.

Photo: i need that bush thats circled in red.

Yea. Actually not many trails remaining. Frim last I went they close the gates before the steroid hill. They claim need to let flora and fauna heal

Kota Damansara not suitable as trail become too narrow. Left kiara and pcp

Elmina has nice kelapa sawit trail but can’t simply go in need to ask permission from owners first
*
Oh? Didn't know abt elmina issue. Ok thanks for sharing. Point taken.

I would love to join, but I am such a noob rider pushing in downhill and not to mention uphill  laugh.gif

So, I better stay out and ride alone.
*
Bro. There's no shame in pushing the bike.

I pushed mine many times.

My first and second pcp, trail 1, its just a very noob decent... I also pushed it down cuz no confidence.

Don't ego. Ego will hurt u physically. laugh.gif

I go there often on weekends and still push up some hills 😅.

The next time my buddy and I go there again (probably next weekend), we may try to find that trail leading to another waterfall (not Sofea Jane).
*
Invite pls

This weekend I gotta work. Next weekend sounds do-able.

Working on my stamina now.

We’ve been to that waterfall once before long time ago before MCO even began. Just feel like want to see it again.

Sure, will update here next week once we have planned it. Currently my kaki has sent his bike for servicing. Hopefully it can be ready next week.
*
Nice. Pls do inform in advance. I need to arrange the weekends.

After all.
MTB stands for Mari Tolak Basikal.

no shame

riding MTB on an off road trail
number 1 rules is to know your limit/ability  (and listen to your body)
number 2 is not to be over confident
number 3 is never catch up with the faster riders.
*
Agreed.

To add, recommend to get a smart watch. Monitoring your heart rate is pretty imp... imo.

I once reached 200bpm.. then I knew I needed a rest...

I do plan to get one watch.
Which you recommend?

I thought of getting those cyclo meters with hb monitoring.
*
I don't have enough knowledge to recommend that.

I'm using Samsung galaxy watch 4. Lol.

It gives me all the details I need. HR, calories, trail, km, elevation, time, gps, etc.

Hi guys, I recently bought a used full-suspension bike which comes with an older model Yari. I found out that the air spring can be upgraded to the newer Debonair air spring but can't find the one that is suitable for my fork for sale anywhere. Will bike shops know where to source them?

I plan to service the forks and upgrade the air spring in a few months. For now plan to ride it as it is first to get a feel of how well it works.

Where are you from?

I'd recommend bike corner in cheras. Leon is ever helpful and honest. Pm me if you want hus number. Maybe can query first.

Mt200 good stuff also.  Used this before.

Adjust the lever more away from the grip, so that you get more leverage power.  Two finger.  Or One finger also can.  Better.

Magura brakes quite cheap if buy from German online retailers even when shipping is included. Not sure about customs duties and sales tax on importation though.
Tempted to buy their 4 pot brakes, but my skill level is still newbie, not worth upgrading brakes yet.
*
Same la.

I tolak basikal 99% of the time. Magura?

Hi guys.

Wanna know your thoughts for those who are experienced.

I use the external boot bike carrier. The one that we attach on/at the boot of the car, and carry the bike externally.

Now, my top tube is pretty low and the space between top tube and rear shocks is too small (full sus), my carrier clamp can't go thru.

Can I clamp my rear shocks stanchion instead? I'm afraid that I may scratch/dent the shocks stanchion...
Any of you have been doing that all these while?

Pls advise.

Don't clamp your stanchions. You will damage it.
*
Ya. Thats my concern. Ok thanks bro. How's your progress abt your shox so far? Did you call Leon?

Not yet, still familiarising with the bike and fork characteristics.
Will only start checking out next month once I have more experience with the bike so that I can appreciate any upgrade.
*
Ahhh. Good call. Don't be like me. Everything also wanna upgrade. No baseline to refer to lol.
