FC depends on your riding style,
if slow and steady maybe jimat minyak laugh.gif
for me, 110-120km/h average can get around 140-150km / full tank (4 litres).
maintainence just like car, each 3000km change engine oil and oil filter,
just easy lidat nod.gif

diff between SS and ES maybe on colours only,
plus bigger front disc, hand clutch and rear lamp colour.

depends on the engine oil type, if full synthetic could go up to 8000km.
semi synthetic up to 4000km, although in manual book it is recommended to change engine oil each 3000km. smile.gif

get lower what? ride height? laugh.gif

now using full synthetic one,
brand Selenia Linx 4T (but heck, dunno why they call it Selenia since I can't even find that word on the bottle nor packaging laugh.gif ).
costs me RM33, + RM12 for the oil filter.

salam sejahtera...

saya terimgin nak join kelab2 LC. Di mana saya boleh dapatkan maklumat?
*
boleh join http://www.kom135.com atau http://www.crypton-lc.com smile.gif

true, any 2-wheelers will counter a problem when it comes to braking on a wet road, especially during high speed. nod.gif

I plan to change the type when i got the bike, what type of tyre is good for LC?
Thanks to salimbest83 & charge-n-go for the info  cheers.gif
*
most people prefer either Dunlop TT900 or Duro. nod.gif
if got extra cash, can try Bridgestone Battlax. brows.gif
but told you, the cheapest pair of Battlax tire costs more than full body airbrush work sweat.gif

If you wanna change tyre, go Bukit Mertajam. Nibong sell Dunlop TT900 80/90 @ RM95, and many shops in BM selling about RM75 only. Petrol and bridge tol add up oso less than RM10.
*
got a question here, what's the difference between 'normal' TT9 and TT9 Low Profile / LP version?
here in my area, TT9 80/90 one can get around RM65 only, but dunno wat type. unsure.gif

any idea how much will that cost to replace a new one guys?
*
which one? the headlamp or auxiliary lamp?
if headlamp, try to get the same brand as stock one, that's Stanley.
not sure about retail price, but supposed to be under RM15.
while the auxiliary lamp is much cheaper, not more than RM2 each laugh.gif

Right hole function is to suck in air into exhaust pipe to the unburned fuel from exhaust stroke.
Left hole is like an engine 'breather'. If you open the bike throttle, you can feel some hot air going into the airbox. This hot air contains some petrol as well.
If you remove the hose connected to this hole, performance will increase slightly, because you have more cold air (cold air has more oxygen molecules) and no petrol moisture going into the carb. You got a cleaner air.
*
misread your useful post bro.

if removed the hose, where would the hot air will go? will the moisture fill up the spaces?
and where did the hot air come from?

Been riding my new LC for the past few days, found some pro and con for this bike. Here are my review :

Pro
***
1. FC very good. I pump rm8.10 petrol when i first got my bike, today my tank is nearly empty and the milage already reached 170KM. So that means rm1 = approx 21KM  icon_rolleyes.gif  icon_rolleyes.gif

*
it's standard bro,
during 1st 1000km mine too can do 170km / full tank. tongue.gif
that's because ride not more than 80km/h so FC sure damn low.. hahaha laugh.gif

QUOTE(charge-n-go)
Oh yea, are you using V-power? It is damn good, my carb is still freaking clean after 18000km on odo. Some of my frens who used the RON92 red oil, 10000km ady dirty...

how much for full tank of V-Power? smile.gif

even my friend's one very hard to hit 130km/h doh.gif

anyway,
I think we should compile the list of LC owners here and TS publish it in 1st post. follow this format :

CODE
01. [b]Name[/b] | Hometown / Area | Version (Super Sport [SS] / Extreme Spirit [ES] | Year |

lemme start 1st..

1. Are_keem | Terengganu | SS | Sept. 2007

thats a good option. i just want to upgrade my bike, but not to extreme la. just normal upgrade.
that NOB1 SSS loud or not?? i dont like loud2 exhaust...but if car, its diff la...laugh.gif and also, can pass JPJ or not?
*
I just love the 'pom pom pom' sound of the NOB1 exhaust,
classic sound laugh.gif

but I think SSS series looks very much like stock exhaust,
if JPJ pass beside also tak perasan lol laugh.gif

QUOTE(rainingzero @ Nov 13 2008, 10:13 AM)
installing NOB1 SSS need to setting the carb too right?? to get the optimum performance out of it...
*
some said the card will need to be retuned, in order to ensure excellent airflow.
this is because aftermarket exhaust mostly didn't have catalyzer,
so the airflow would be more clear or 'lawas'.

can say like this la,
kalau angin keluar banyak, masuk pun kena banyak nod.gif

135 LC can continue ride from Penang to Terengganu or not? I scare the coolant will kering habis before reach your house... LOL
*
no problem. once there are kom135 members who try to test the engine.
he ride from KL to Grik non stop, just stop to refuel 2-3 time but with the engine is still running.
guess what, only after 450km the warning temp indicator lighted flex.gif

in most cases, when the engine is overheated,
you could hear the cooling fan behind the radiator spinning.
but that was rare la, even mine I think never spin laugh.gif
