Dear Sifu, @ZM Fong

I found this promotional offer from one of the online computer shop,

Is the Dell Vostro 5402 laptop good ? and worth to buy ?

Strictly casual end-user usage such as Microsoft offices, Zoom meeting, email, Youtube, and Facebook, and Internet surfing.

- Intel i5 Core 11 Processor
- 8 GB RAM, 3200 Mhz
- 256 GB SSD
- Full HD display
- Windows 10 pro
- 3 years warranty from Dell

RM 32XX

How about Dell Vostro 5402 compared to Dell Inspiron 5402 ? which model is better, look like the pricing is more or less the same, both are RM 3K plus

1. Budget : below rm4k
2. Usage : mostly on Microsoft office, CAD & solidworks, or web browsing, youtube, multitasking will a lot, maybe start play some online games after buying new laptop but not AAA games.
3. Requirements (display size, battery life, weight etc) :display size better good and big, more focus on durable laptop, weight doesnt matter, battery life also doesst matter too.

Thanks ZM Fong, the best price I can find for MSI Prestige 15 is RM3699... Is there any discount code available for it?

It's only 8gb ram, do I need to addon another 8gb if I am just a light Adobe user? The most I use is Photoshop, Illustrator, short video clip editing, Unity 3D game development.

1. Budget: RM2k - RM2.5k

2. Usage: Internet surfing, stock trading, Microsoft Office, light gaming, maybe some data analysis programme/tool (thinking to pick up some data analysis skill)

3. Display size: Preferably 15 inch but 14 inch is fine too
Battery Life: Doesn't matter
Weight: Doesn't matter
Brand preference: Asus > HP > Dell

My current Asus X452L bought in December 2014 (<RM1500) serves me well just that sometimes it is getting slower and hanging. I think is time to survey for new laptop. That's why I am looking for another Asus laptop

Asus and HP don't have decent models at budget-mid range

For your budget you need to made sacrifices like build quality or performance
