New updates ? You mean new firmware ?
There isn't any new firmware release from Sony Ericsson for this phone.

If my memory served my right, he had flashed his phone via Wotan Server. That's should be the reason he now can enjoy the update from SEUS.

R1JG001 is the latest available at SEUS. For Wotan Server, the latest firmware should be R1KG001. But, you gonna pay for the service at Wotan for sure wink.gif

There isn't any free lunch in the world right ? Nothing is free and get in mind. Wotan server service is cheaper. RM 30 bucks ++ only. Flashing at shop will cost you around RM 50 or even more like the PM shown above.

Another thing is, they too flash your phone thru online. Because DB 2020 phone can't be flash manually without the configuration/ calculation by server.

The firmware is R1KG001. SEUS version instead of Wotan Server version. smile.gif

This is the changes in the new firmware.

- no more video preview
- no more lag with flash themes
- java apps are faster

R1JG001 isn't the latest one. The latest firmware which released today by SEUS is R1KG001.

Your problem should be a software problem. Try master reset or update to the latest firmware and it should solve your problems.

CID 51/52 phones are able to flash more flash theme into it. But gonna pay some penny for that.

Yeap. After R1GB001, there isn't anymore effect in the upcoming firmware. For R1KG001, might need some forumer to give it a try and tell us the result. smile.gif

I'd recommend to take up Midland set. As Midland set currently pricing is really tempting. And Midland set is better if your D-pad crack. They will change for you FREE!!.

Crack still occur for 07 batch.

Some Vodafone set will replace the walkman logo with Vodafone logo. That's common.

Who will likes it anyway ? I, too hate it if my AP set comes with a Vodafone logo. But no choice. AP set cheaper and people will opt for that and saving some penny to buy other stuff for the phone
