Need help on my w850i.. all the while i can transfer any type of files smoothly into my memory card (ori 1GB). Out of a sudden, the below msg pop out. I still can copy jpeg files but not others like mp3 or thm.
Pls help me with this..

i''ve been using a "2nd hand" W850i for 5months,whenever i want to scroll down the options menu,the wording menu is replaced by somekind of code like this "F4:2589" and i'll hv to scroll up&down couple of times and wait until its ok blink.gif and the display brightness sometimes flickering,sometimes it becomes darker..and now my batt.charger can't kick in-hv to wait oso,readjust..does anybody out there experiencing the same prob like me?

How much stuff you get on your MSPD? I usually have this problem when my memory nearly full, normally less than 100MB left. Files bigger than 10MB usually have that kind of error

dude, the phone u having is built with earliest firmware. Just update it to latest R1JG001 will solve it.

Neway, I've just found a slight crack on the D-pad. Sigh... not on my phone... I bought it from Midland.. Still under warranty.. So has anyone of u claimed warranty for e same prob b4? Will SE change it FOC?

as from our previous discussion, for ori user, they dint face any problem when claiming warranty for Dpad at SE centre, is FOC...nt like AP set...

About the claiming warranty, do I need to bought the box or just the phone is enough? I bought 2nd hand Midland W950 but it have slight scratch on the screen and the casing too, but the shop say it still under warranty, and the phone do have Midland sticker, but no warranty card. Can I just bought the phone to the service centre and ask them to replace the casing and the screen FOC?

One more thing, where is SE Service Centre located?

It is not about 1st/ 2nd batch.. All w850i phones will have the chances of getting e cracks. Just a matter of luck n usage. Mine is so called e new batch (bought in April 2007) has got the same prob too. I've been using it for a mth since the crack started.

For those who bought Ori hopefully can be replaced FOC.

So how much does it cost to replace the d-pad? Mine already cracked a long time ago... no warranty

Haiz.... well before i buy this phone i already know this crack problem, nvm la... as long as wont cause any problem during operate the phone, i think should be ok la...

First of all, does Midland's warranty cover screen scratches? I doubt that. Even if you have the warranty card and all, I don't think they'll replace a casing for you for free. Correct me if I'm wrong.

haha nw i notice the back side of the charger can put in handsfree n usb..so v can charge during listening 2 songs..
